I disagree. Everyone wants to meet someone who is attractive and shares your interests. I think we can agree on that. For those on the forum it can be succinctly summed up as a "hot gamer chick" (ignoring the connotation you assign to the term chick). I suppose I can go along with the notion of treating her like an object to be won, but now you're trying to fight against eons of instinct. Mating rituals are an attempt to win the favor of a female to pick you over all other prospective mates. And it really isn't different from pro sports, when you think about it. The big difference is that in pro sports the rules are set by a governing body and eveyrone knows what they are. In courtship the rules are set by the target and no one knows what they are.

I see you're arguing the same way you always do Mozgus. You have a tendency to use your opinion as fact and to then attempt to shout down any opposing view with insults and denials. You also attempt to twist other's words and then tell them to get out, without actually making any real stab at their points. And it seems to work rather well, considering what I hear about the people you've driven away from the site over the years. I hate to say this, but as I watch your attempts at arguments with others, you're the one who comes across as pathetic, a sort of opinionated Luddite who thinks he can brute force his way through the opposition's opinions. You're like a cult, and anyone with a differing viewpoint is a heretic to be burned at the stake.
I think your attempt to champion women's rights now is a sick parody, considering how so often you refer to them as "life-sucking cunts". We talk of finding these women as a "grand acquisition" because they are. We braved the seas of loneliness, went through trials of error with discussion, and came home victorious with our relationships after long struggles. And we're quite happy with the individual we return with. I certainly know I'm happy with mine, and I consider it to have been a great victory to have gotten over my shyness towards the opposite sex to meet a girl. Had she played many games? Well no, but she cared enough to have an interest in my hobbies, and she had had similar nostalgic experiences as a child around gaming, so she understood what I was interested in.
My proposal for you to live like a hermit wasn't anything like that at all. I just took what I saw as your views and asked you something about them and how they seem to circle in on one another. Why then the hostility to a question? Is it that you don't understand something about humanity, or there is something you don't wish to confront? I return to my older statement, one that you attacked but have since admitted yourself: it really is just you.

As for the second topic at hand, I am tempted to get some of my female gaming friends to join up and comment on this. One of which founded a convention and her favorite games of all time are Burgertime and Kings Quest 2, but she does have a level 99 character in Castle Crashers. Racket met her last year if you dont trust Ack or myself.
1) I couldn't care less about a girlfriend, the dating life, or anything related. What I want is a world where half the entire population ISN'T worthless to me by default. I LOVE conversation. I'm just tired of only having good conversation with dudes.
It doesn't take a lot for a woman to earn my utmost respect. Be self-reliant, show common sense, be honest. 3 of my own qualities, actually. It's unfortunate that those 3 key points automatically filter out 95% of the female populations
Why limit these criticisms to females? In my experience an overwhelming proportion of humanity, male or female, is worthless. Men are just as dependent, foolhardy, and deceptive as females.

Where did I say I limit them to just females? However you're very wrong. Guys are much more likely to demonstrate those qualities than women are. I find them all over the place.
