After nearly two years, my 360 is about to go. It actually red-ringed once, but I rest and it started again. Now what I get is weird pink color banding, which from what I understand means the GPU is about to go. Luckily I have the best buy replacement plan and they said I can just bring it in and I'll get a card to spend what I paid in Sept. 07 - $350. I'd reeealy like to wait until the predicted price drop (likely around Madden in August), which would mean I could get an Elite for $299. That would leave me fifty bucks to spend on top of that.

EDIT: After some post-RRoD research, it looks like I have Zepher revision of the motherboard, the first revision after the awful initial mobo. The Falcon and Jasper have come after and Wikipedia says another called Valhalla is slated for later in 2009.
