What video games are you playing at the moment?

Been borrowing a 360 from a friend while he's away, in return for feeding his cats, there's a bit of irrelivant information but hey^^' But as you can see below it's not the only console I've been playing on:

Dead or Alive 4 (360)
King Kong (360)
Killer 7 (GC)
Klonoa: Empire of Dreams (GBA)

Quite recently I had a go on our CD-i (being such a diverse thing that it is, it was never really mine) I had to have a go on 'The Apprentice' which I feel to be a lost gem, anyone else played it? I also enjoyed Kether and Lost Eden, those games have got a lot of atmosphere and I still find them a unique and enjoyable experience. French games seem to be very good for atmosphere. In truth though there isn't really that much in the way of great games on CD-i, I remember Hotel Mario was quite addictive...kept messing up though, I think the CD-i's on it's last legs, which is a shame I have fond memories of it, same with the master system, mine unfortunatly is no more...

Where do you live? The CD-i is still a viable platform somewhere? It was dead here around 97, that's fascinating to me. I think it's interesting when a console does that like the Master System dominating in Brazil up till the late 90's.

Im still playing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Akumajou Dracula X - Gekka no Yasoukyoku (Saturn) I know theres no difference(besides teh 2 short extra sections) in teh saturn and PSX but I just want to play them. You cant hate a game that has great game play.

It must be brawler-week at my house, I've been playing:

Sengoku 3
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
Armored Warriors

All 3 are GEMS. Instant classics.(that no one has heard of) Rather than study for my final exam, I've been playing these games... and I NEVER slack off, so you know they gotta be good.

Sengoku 3 has some bad-ass ninjas and a wicked cool combo system. I'm listening to the music from the Japan level right now. Ninjas with scarfs rule.

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs plays like any other Capcom brawler but it still has a charm all it's own. I really like the Post-apocalyptic-dinosaur-future setting. Maybe the only brawler I've played where you can explode bad guys into little, bloody, meaty chunks.

Armored Warriors features some great mech brawling action. The cool thing is that when you destroy enemy mechs you get to attach their weapons and body parts to your mech. (It's the prequel to Cyberbots by the way.)

I highly recommend all three of these games, so stop watching Gilmore Girls and go play them right now.

Hmm, not really. It was still being sold - just because it was dirt cheap and well, we do have a lot of poor people in Brazil - but very far from "dominating" the scene.

The PS1 was king in the late 90s, and many, many folks had N64s and Saturns. All the other Sega/Nintendo consoles - all the way back to the Master System - were still being sold in stores at the same time, but you just bought them if you couldn't afford the newer ones.
