I recently picked up Star Soldier Vanishing Earth - it is fairly fun and will really be getting the rounds in a couple weeks at Momo. Go 5 minute mode.

I also rediscovered my love of Mario Tennis 64. In my test bed for my arcade cabinet (meaning all the parts around and the control panel patially wired up) I fired it up as a test, several hours later I realized that the game is more deep than I remember it being and that I had missed three phone calls. I just wish I could hack cube controllers for the cab and use the cube version (sadly it uses more than two buttons).

Heck yeah, Mario Tennis! I used to play that all the time in high school, Baby Mario was my character of choice.

As for games I've always been partial to on the N64...

Killer Instinct Gold
MarioKart 64
Mario Tennis
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Super Smash Bros.
Turok 2

And then there's the obvious classics, like Ocarina of Time and GoldenEye that we all played.

Correction, apparently you can get buy with only two buttons in Mario Power Tennis for the cube, however it does not support dpad movement - to my knowledge. Time to investigate hacking that 10k pentimeter again...

But to get back on topic:
Harvest Moon 64. While it may not still be the king of Harvest Moons (I believe one of the cube versions was finally given that distinction), it is still one of my favorites. Its like Simcity, a farming sim that is just a time sink. But I remember pissing my little brother off when I took our joint save (we each had our own as well) and planted the entire field and the green house nothing but grass. Oh he was ticked for a time after that. We havent played one jointly since either. Granted I have only bought Harvest Moon DS.

I've never played Mario Tennis 64, but I personally really enjoy Mario Tennis for GBA - as I do Mario Golf (GBA).
Can anyone who has played both tell me how similar Mario Tennis 64 and Mario Tennis for GBA are? Preferences?
Actually, I'd also like it if anyone who has played Mario Golf for both systems could tell me some about the differences there, too.

Speaking of 'Harvests', you better all start showing some love for Body Harvest or I'll harvest you!

See, I'm the exact opposite; I wish they would use those engines cause wrestling games suck now. No Mercy is my favorite wrestling game of all-time, best create-a-wrestler ever.

I love those AKI wrestling games, owned all of them at one point. Even though No Mercy is the best game graphically and feature wise, I still prefer Wrestlemania 2000 the most because it had all my favorite wrestlers in their best gimmicks.

Added "Space Station Silicon Valley" to my list.

I've only played it for about 30-45 min, but it's a very fun game with great humor. I would have never known about it if it weren't for Racket's lists.

Banjo Kazooie- Like Mario 64, but better in my opinion.
Ocarina of Time- Probably the best game I've ever played.
Snowboard Kids- I spent many days with this one. My friends and I loved it!
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98- The best hockey game I've ever played! I still play it!

There are lots of great games, but Wave Race is my all time fav for the N64. It just controls beautifully.
