And for good reason; it's an awesome game. I actually prefer the Neo Geo Pocket version of Baseball Stars to the Neo Geo Pocket Color one, mainly because it is a more manageable difficulty.swiftzx wrote:I love Neo turf masters for NGPClisalover1 wrote:I'm on vacation on the East Coast, so I went to see Videogamesnewyork. I got:
Ouendan 2 - DS
Military Madness - TG16
Neo Turf Masters - NGPC
Baseball Stars - NGP
NGPC-to-Dreamcast Link Cable
All for around $100; considering the prices of the store, that's not too shabby.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to green bay earlier today and its a fact, gamestop sucks. Found some nifty things though but this one store was selling snes for $50, N64 for $25, genesis for $30 and used xboxes for 200...and lots of games were overpriced (mario kart for snes 24, mario kart 64 27...). Too make matters worse all of the snes were yellowing. But I did manage to buy some cool things.
First a pikachu nintendo 64 for $35.

A boxed kongo green with insert foam and controller for $30. No instructions but box is in great shape.

Lion king for genesis $2,
Odama still sealed game(not the big case though) $3
Kirby 64 for 7 but back label is ruined because of a please rewind sticker on the back. Gonna have to open it up and replace the back. How do i rewind a n64 cart?
Mischief Makers $5 awesome condition

Onechabara for wii new $10, metal gear solid colleciton new $20 at wolly world(walmart)

Luigis Mansion official nintendo guide and 1992 secret codes 1992 at good will for $6. Super pad style super famicom controller and it feels great-$5

Soul Calibur-$9
Near mint condition mario party 6 with microphone -$30
Gameboy pocket color green-$10
last but not lease, sealed broadband adaptor for gc-$20. Package looks like it was opened but no way it couldve been taken out.

Overall a good haul

At Toys R Us yesterday I found a couple boxed and complete (obviously) copies of Soul Calibur 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament for five bucks.
I already have both those games but I felt like I should of still bought them for some reason. Five dollars is very reasonable and those games are great.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Two pc games for me:
Outlaws - $2.24
Treasure Mountain - 2.05
Good old wacky Goodwill prices.
I use to play Treasure Mountain in school, besides Oregon Trail it was my favorite:
Feels good to finally own a copy (though it is of the cd version and not the 3.5" one we use to play on the schools PS/2 Model 25s.
Outlaws is a second copy. I think all FPS should give it a go:
So pretty, so atmospheric, and their is still an active community playing online - Saturday night I found three games.
