Have you played Covenant? That one always sounds like one of the finest on the PS2.Exhuminator wrote:One more for you TSTR:
My review from HLTB:You can finish it in about 20-25 hours, depending on if you decide to do the optional dungeons or not. Shadow Hearts is a fantastic JRPG.
IMO, the first game is better in every way. I respect PS2, but I really did not enjoy beating it.flash1987 wrote:Lol Phantasy Star in a weekend?
I only ever played the second game but it was insanely huge and totally impossible without a guide.
I have not played Covenant, but I do own it, and From the New World as well. In the Shadow Hearts series, I've only finished Koudelka and Shadow Hearts so far. I enjoyed both of them quite a lot though, and I have no doubt Covenant is great. It's in my short list of PS2 JRPGs to beat next.Xeogred wrote:Have you played Covenant? I beat Phantasy Star 2 when I was 12 years old, and I didn't have any guide. It's totally doable without outside help. The problem is PS2 is super grindy, and that's what most folks can't stand about it for the amount of time it takes to finish.flash1987 wrote:I only ever played the second game but it was insanely huge and totally impossible without a guide.
