Maybe for the sake of people in my generation(I didn't even know it was made for a older console or that the snes even existed when I was younger). I miss that game....I know I lost that one...Xeogred wrote:Megaman Zero is coming to VC, awesome! I figure the rest shall follow.
Why oh why would Nintendo release the GBA version of Yoshi's Island though? Worse sound effects, the awful Yoshi's Story noises, less buttons to utilize, etc? Weird...

Are you 15 or something?
Great game and the port seems fine though, anyone know if it has any differences besides the cosmetic stuff I mentioned?

Nintendo was showing every player using a GamePad while playing Splatoon, and during the Twitch stream they mentioned multiple times that it was online, though they were playing over local LAN at the show.
I hope the final game supports Local LAN that'd be pretty sweet.
I kind of hope the game gets some kind of campaign though, like an action game or something. It would appear that it won't. But not really a lot was shown. Just some arena fighting and how there's, essentially, a dynamic class system.

One extra level in each world when you beat the game, and the arcade Mario Bros. is included. Think that's it.Xeogred wrote:Are you 15 or something?![]()

You keep forgetting by the time I was old enough to even understand how to play games well the n64 was gaining ground and I don't think by '98 or '00 they were even saying a word about snes anymore...Xeogred wrote:Are you 15 or something?![]()

The greatest tragedy of the 32-bit era: forgetting that the generation right before had by far better games. Maybe Nintendo can sell Wii U tablets for extra players on Splatoon.
I believe the Neo-Geo is the only system from the 16-bit era that still was active by 2000.
If I recall correctly, by 2000 the snes and genesis were something forgotten and looked at as an archaic systems. Who wants to play Comix Zone when you can play something like Soul Calibur II. 16-bit generation were not old enough to have the nostalgia effect. GTA 4 is older today than SNES was in 2000, for comparison purposes.darsparx wrote:Well think back was snes stuff even being advertised at that point?
