It pays off to help the elderly XDArbitern1 wrote:SO today i was helping my neighbor with cleaning out her attic. She is a rather elderly woman and her son used to own a SNES. We found a box of old complete SNES games in the attic which she gave to me because she knows i like video games. I dug through the first few layers and saw nothing but sports games, and put it aside until later. I took it home and looked throught it. I got to the bottom and i found complete copies of
1.FF 6
2.EARTHBOUND
3Secret of Mana
4.Illusion of Gaia
5Link to the Past.
AWESOME!!!!

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I found an original Game Boy with Tetris for $5.06 at Goodwill. It was a lucky find because it wasn't in the usual spot for video games. It was on the table where people test electronics. I only saw it because I was testing a George Foreman grill. Someone must have tested it and thought it was broken, because at first it wouldn't turn on. It turned out that only problem was that one of the batteries was not making good contact. Now it works fine.
Off topic: What is with Goodwill and adding 6 cents to every price? Do all Goodwills do that?

So the one I go to is not the only one, but not all of them do it. Now I'm really curious about the story behind this.SwooshBear wrote:My goodwill does that too!

Commodore 64-C (The later slimmer Amiga looking model, which I actually prefer the more computer-like look of)
.
.
.
.
.
.
$20 SHIPPED, BOXED, COMPLETE and it included the S-Video cable for use with a Commodore monitor if I ever run across one.
This thing seriously looks perfect. It doesn't seem to have a single scratch on it and zero/near-zero yellowing to the plastic.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
a couple of days ago at my local fleamarket i found both Aero the Acrobat 2 and Chiki Chiki Boysfor the genesis at $4 each. Sadly no boxes tho.
I wasnt to pleased with the prices, since many times I can find games for way less than that. but as soon as I got home I checked online and it seems that aero is kinda rare, so I guess I can live with that.
I have found way more awesome deals in the past.
but its all good when youve never owned the game before

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Bought a copy of Ys Seven Premium for the PSP at Gamestop, ($50.) I was actually surprised they had 1 copy left... Anybody else finding it hard to get the Premium edition of this game..?
