Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. It was okay, I understood much more of it than my wife did because I studied economics in school. But for that very reason I think I didn't enjoy it as much.

Actually just watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest yesterday. What a great movie, no wonder it's on AFI's top 100! It's an on-going goal of mine to watch every movie on their list (I think right now I sit about 20-25 seen).

So good though, if you've never seen it, definitely worth getting it to watch. The pacing of movie is honestly what struck me the most. There's moments where you're encouraged and uplifted, then you crash down the next scene. You've got moments of intense anger, violence and honest moments of the mundane. The pacing actually created a relatable feeling that I was experiencing being in a mental ward just as Mac was. It was great, go see it!

B&W version, and I didn't know there was a color version released. Although, I'd have to say I prefer the B&W, gives it a more WTF feeling to it!

The original Wall Street was so much better...
It was different, but I enjoyed it. I thought it seemed like a very different style of movie.

The Philadelphia Experiment. Time travel movie. Not bad. Not great either. But a good sci-fi explaination of an unexplained event in history.

Just watched Due Date yesterday. Had some laughs out of it. Not nearly as funny as The Hangover.

The premise sort of reminded of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Too bad the movie didn't deliver even a fraction of the same experience. Then again, not many duos can compete with John Candy and Steve Martin as far as comedy roles go.

Yeah, that's easily one of Nicholson's best, and he's had an excellent career.

That AFI list is a good goal to shoot for, you'll see a wide selection of great films across various genres. I've seen 57 of the original 1997 list and 58 of the updated 2007 list. Check out some of the alternate lists too, I've seen 67 of the 100 thrills list and only 19 of the Passions list. Heh, I've got a ways to go myself on these. Also, I know it sounds stereotypical, but checking out the nominees and winners for Best Picture at the Academy Awards isn't a bad idea either, though some of these overlap.
