my god dead space 3 looks terrible. Did anyone see anything on this? I saw a teaser or somthing and it looks like it's going to be replacing all the good aspects of the game with human enemies, a new cover system and co op. Looks like its taking the same direction resi 5 did.

So, they've finally done away with the last remaining things that could potentially classify the Dead Space series as horror games, eh?Goregasm wrote:my god dead space 3 looks terrible. Re: E3 2012
- It's EA
- Dead Space 2 had multiplayer
- Dead Space 2 wasn't as good as the first
- It's EA
- Lots of emphasis on co-op with this new installment for some reason
- It's EA
- Get ready for 5 more sequels
I'm not surprised. I thought 2 was very underwhelming after the first. Gave the guy a lame voice, recycled every single enemy, barely anything new, bleh. I liked it when it was one game.

"America's Screwed Up Priorities"
Personally, I've never understood the reasonings behind everybody being so open with sex. Violence is something people can unerstand and are capable of before they walk. Sex, on the other hand, is not. It is not something that can be understood as easily. Too many emotions get mixed in.
I could go on and on. Its an unwinnable argument for my side, so whatever.
Too bad we don't have whats his name anymore. He could really blow this conversation up...

I saw them play the demo and it looks fantastic. I liked DS 1 much more than 2, but the demo made me very much interested in 3. Some new ideas have been added (and well implemented), but nothing has been replaced.Goregasm wrote:my god dead space 3 looks terrible. Did anyone see anything on this? I played Dead Space 1, enjoyed, and left it at that. From what I'm hearing, sounds like the way to go.

So the horror aspects still seem to be there? from what I saw it looked more like gears of war then dead space.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I saw them play the demo and it looks fantastic. Re: E3 2012
Does the horror genre even exist anymore? I feel bad every time I remember Resident Evil started as a Japanese Alone in the Dark.
