I'm with the old man there, I don't like buying digital and I don't like just clickbaiting on line when I can walk into a store, browser, see what there, read the box and the rest of it. It's just more helpful and as also pointed out, if you wait a bit those physical games drop in price too which will include LRG. I'll get Yooka Laylee on Switch, never for $50 that is garbage, but when BB tries and clear them eventually $30 or less, why not? Same with like Golf Story getting a decent slice.

I learned early on with my hesistation about digital that it just pays to wait, wait on those sales. But that alone was enough of a stop gap of be being cheap about that to finally notice how much of these better rated titles are being picked up and published proper like. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a real one than some digital foo foo of no real value.

Hold on, are you claiming that online storefronts are more clickbaity and misleading than the back of a box? That has just as much, if not more, marketspeak to try and get you to spend your money.

I personally don't like shopping for games on retail anymore, I'm not sure I ever did, especially dealing with the clueless overcharging locals.

Which is why I buy almost exclusively online these days.

I don't generally do impulse buys of anything, I'm not an impulsive person in general, I know what I want and I get it.

I'm also not one of those people that would buy anything for $5 or $10, I don't care if its free, if I don't want to play it is garbage for me. That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy something for $5 when I know I can flip it for $200, but flipping it for $20? $30? Even $50. Not worth my time.

Not having any real retro market locally, that doesn't charge more than eBay and in worst condition surely helps with that.

I also, never, ever sell anything, I still have some of the very first games I got back in 1993 (cause god forbid if my parents ever bough me anything before that).

And just to keep this post 'on topic'.

There was an Armored Mewtwo trademark filed in Japan, which made people speculate that Armored Evolution's will be a thing in Sword and Shield. Or it could be just limited to an Armored Mewtwo showing up in one of the Anime movies, who knows?

The game(s) is coming out later this year though, so we'll know sooner rather than later.

I'm up to 7 wins now in Tetris 99! Unfortunately, only one of those happened during the event.

I'm up to 10 wins in Tetris 99. This might be a nice milestone to take a break on.

25 hours in and I haven't had a single win in Tetris 99 yet. I've come third a couple of times and that seems to be the best I can do.

The Turok remaster comes to Switch next week. Any fans? I loved the hell out of the first Turok as a kid, so might pick it up if (or when) the price is right. It was the only one I played to completion, other than the lacklustre Evolution on Gamecube.

Hopefully they also release Turok 2 and maybe even 3.

Maybe 2 is coming later, but it's just Turok 1 being released next week, as far as I know.
