You should jump on the Miiverse for every single Captain Toad level, request after request for Ninty to make a full featured game.
I'm the only one who really didn't like those levels much? Fair enough, I guess I'm in the minority.

Go skim through the gameplay demonstration that they had at the Treehouse Live stream. Just looking around at what the opening area had to show was impressive enough for me. I avoided looking at too much of the opening cutscenes and whatnot though.
It looked like Macross/Star Ocean/Phantasy Star mash up in the trailer, which seemed quite far away from the footage we saw last year. Add on to that screaming anime girls, terrible acronyms and nihilistic talk of "wiping humanity from the universe" and giant mecha battles (in space!). It was almost as if it was checking off all the terrible JRPG cliches it could. The game itself looks cool, but the trailer was crap is what I'm saying.

Couldn't agree more.

If you think giant mecha battles in space are terrible then I don't want to know what you like.

Terror from the Deep once you've researched top tier armor. Good luck getting there.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I'm still looking forward to it, but the footage showed last year looked better. And also, the graphics look pretty shit. Not that that should matter, but still...

I don't have much interest in X right now but I definitely enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm just distracted by the OTHER Captain Toad cooler stuff that Nintendo has planned.

Some of the nihilistic talk really hearkens back to the original Xenogears. It is a consistent theme from the series.

I'll take it.

Especially since we'll probably never see Phantasy Star Nova outside of Japan.
