I am playing one of my favorite games ever:
Bolo by Dongleware (MS-DOS CD-ROM, 1995).
It is the most innovative Breakout game of all time, including free paddle movement and tons of physics effects. Instead of talking much about it, I recorded a video of the gameplay on YouTube if you want to see the game in action. Notice how cool room 10 is at the very end of the video. Suddenly the paddle becomes circular and touching the bricks can kill the player. There are fifty rooms in total. I highly recommend this game!

I haven't played
Strange Journey yet, but I beat
Nocturne a few years ago. In my opinion,
Nocturne is the best JRPG available for PS2. The game is phenomenal. Feel the dark love:

Sure you do:

Should've told him this first though:

Based on a conversation I had with General_Norris recently I decided to fire up Tower of Druaga again and give it another shot.
It's even worse than I remember. Absolutely infuriating in parts. Made it to level 21 (out of 60). Then I shut it off.
I do want to beat it again, so I can review it for my blog. I just have to muster up the strength.
The sequels, which I haven't played, look infinitely better based on screenshots, reviews, etc. So I am interested in trying those when the time comes.

Such a great game! I absolutely loved it, and I really need to fire up its sequels at some point.
.....
I am currently playing Rush, a very challenging Chu-Chu-Rocket-inspired puzzle game on the Wii U. It is only a few dollars in the eShop, and I encourage anyone looking for a challenge to pick it up.
I am also playing Rage of the Gladiator. It stated out on WiiWare, but it was later ported to 3DS, Android, and iOS. It is basically a Punch-Out!! clone, but it is very well made. (My only complaint is that the "jump" command is a bit sluggish. It definitely deserves all of its critical praise, and I will probably be writing about it soon in the "games beaten" thread.
Finally, I have been playing Mario Kart 8 with my children. It is a fantastic game with some incredible DLC, and we all love it.
.....
Apparently, Electronic Super Joy was just released on the eShop today, and I will probably pick it up tonight. (Electronic Super Joy is an incredibly challenging 2D platformer with a juvenile sense of humor and an absolutely amazing soundtrack.) I have been playing around with the previously release sequel, Electronic Super Joy: Groove City, and I love it. The original is supposed to be much, much better, and I suspect I will start on it immediately after downloading it tonight.

I was playing the Sonic Gems collection on the Gamecube. Definitely a must own for the system since it has Sonic CD, Sonic R, Tails Adventure and Sky Patrol. It even has a sonic fighting game.

Been replaying the Definitive Edition of Sleeping Dogs on the XB1. However I've kind of gotten sucked back into War Thunder on the PC great game if you like some arcade style plane combat with some pretty nice damage models and a plenty of players to populate the servers.

Made it to level 42 of Druaga. Realized I couldn't progress because I had "broken" the pickaxe obtained like 15 levels prior.
Fuck this game.

I'm currently playing Fallout 4, Crysis 3, Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 and Dirt Rally all on the PC. So far I'm loving all of them. It's my first gaming laptop and I have to say I'm blown away with the visuals. If my eyes could have orgasms, looking at these games on my laptop would bring me there.

Playing INJUSTICE WHY NOT THROW IN SUB-ZERO?
Single-player story mode is 80% story, 20% game, which usually would bother me but when the game is a simple fighter, a story is good. Plus it looks incredible on the big screen, especially the super moves. Love, love Aquaman's super move where the screen does appear to be flooded with water and a great white attacks your foe. I'm also not opposed to alternate universes, and the game handles the alternate universe well.
The fighting mechanisms are paint by numbers, but INJUSTICE is still a fun fighter, with a buddy or not.
