Fuck those reviews. This movie was just as good as the other 3. No more, no less.

If it's on par with the third movie, then I already know it's a disappointment. Now if it was as good as the second one I'd be pumped. I'm not one to follow movie critics like sheep, but their views on the X-Men movies have been pretty spot on and usually are in sync with what everyone else thinks of them. X-Men 3 got mixed reviews and rightfully so. It didn't suck, but they definitely dropped the ball. That script was weak. I'm betting there's a good reason this new one is getting mixed reviews too

Also, Deadpool should never be in a Marvel movie unless the whole movie is about him. Automatic fail

I saw Wolverine tonight. I liked it better than the other movies because this one managed to get a good story going without stalling on the action.

No. I just found myself without the internet for a few months, but now I'm online, but it's just dial-up, which SUCKS!!! It takes more time to LOAD a YouTube clip than it does to fuckin WATCH it.

I just watched Woody Allen's Sleeper. It's definitely dated, but it still has some humorous moments. The trailer gives a good idea of what to expect.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

It's pretty good for a teenage based movie. I guess those type of movies have gotten significantly better since the 90s and movies like 10 Things I Hate About You.

Mad Max

It's classic stuff. That's about all I really think needs to be said about it.

Hey man, I have very valid gripes about X3, all detailed here right after my first viewing, but its still definitely a GOOD movie like the other two were before it. I really have a hard time seeing how people can hate 3 but like 1. 2 is obviously the peak of the series, but it still has problems. I think all 4 movies have been unbelievably consistent in doing what they do (I almost said it ).

Critics never have any idea what the fuck they're talking about. You can't universally please critics unless you've got a flawless, set-piece type movie, with lots of quiet, vast shots of fields and shit, and a character in deep thought for 60% of the running time. I can't think of a movie in the top 20 of all time that I actually enjoyed.

For example, me, my parents, my grandparents, my landlords, a couple friends, and a roommate have all seen No Country for Old Men. Every single one of us hated that piece of shit. We just found it to be dumb and dull. It didn't fly over our heads. It just didn't have a point. And wasn't lacking any suspense or drama. It was lacking the means to make us care about the suspense and drama. Movies like this just piss me off.

But something like Wolverine has great effects, score, acting, emotion, a few good laughs, and brutal action, and that's why I can leave at the end very pleased. Fuck the reviews.

Meanwhile the Wolverine game has a WAY higher score than the movie on metacritic, but the game so far seems like a very cheap, shoddy, buggy, uninspired god of war clone. I don't think I even have the motivation to finish it. It's so repetitive. Both film and game critics just aren't qualified to do what they do. Simple as that.

You know, I really liked No Country For Old Men, but not because of the plot(though I do enjoy a good hitman film). I've noticed lately that I pay a lot of attention to cinematography-the chosen camera angles, the lighting, how different shots are composed, even ones that only last a few frames. I enjoyed No Country For Old Men because of those reasons. The emphasis on emptiness out in Texas. The colors of the sky and the barren Texas earth. That feeling of solitude was what really caught me. Once it got away from that, I felt the movie wasn't as good. Still entertaining, sure. I liked it overall. But the first half hour or so was my favorite part.

As a comics fan, I didn't care for the third Xmen movie as much because I didn't like some of the choices made with the script or with the chosen characters. But hey, it was entertaining, and I figured that was the point. Fun popcorn movie, you know?
