Yeah the eShop's search engine is not ideal, agreed.

I tend to check review sites to try and find new stuff. This one's not bad:

http://www.nintendolife.com/3ds-eshop/reviews
That one is probably the best, although it hasn't been able to keep up with all of the releases recently. Still, it is a good place to read up on hidden gems like Gotcha Racing.

Don't really remember what I've already posted (and too tired to figure out), but this is what I got in March. Only new stuff last month since I'm been trying to only get games that I plan on playing right away or as soon as I can.

March Pickups
Switch
Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The
Super Bomberman R

3DS
Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns

PS4
Nier: Automata

Vita
Nonary Games, The

Steam
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist

And today I got Persona 5 (PS4) :) That's going to have to wait until after I finish Nier: Automata though haha.

Belated March update:

Previous months:
January
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja SNES - £35.27
Total - 1 game, £35.27

February:
Pier Solar & The Great Architects Mega Drive - £31.49
N64 console - £51
Total: 1 game, 1 console: £82.49
March:
Nintendo Switch console - £279.99
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition Switch - £79.99
Snipperclips Switch eShop - £17.99
UltraHDMI N64 Mod - £224.04
Gauntlet IV Mega Drive - £15
The Ninja Master System - £3.50
Shinobi Master System - £10
Total: 1 console, 1 mode, 5 games - £630.51

Ouch, painful. To be fair, the UltraHDMI money was actually spent in February, but I don't add things to this list until I actually recieve them.

The Switch and Zelda came from Amazon, the UltraHDMI mod was done by VideoGamePerfection, and the Sega stuff was found in a local second hand store. I already owned The Ninja and Shinobi, but bought these versions because they're boxed and my cartridges were loose. I plan to sell off the spare cartridges to make a portion of the money back, so I don't imagine it'll end up costing much for them both overall.

I actually have another expensive item on order (a Framemeister), but other than that I doubt I'll spend too much next month (and I already paid for the Framemeister in January). I do have a few Switch purchases I've been eyeing up, so we'll see.

I remember you were playing Persona 3 not too long ago. Did you ever finish that one? If you did, what did you think after beating it? If not, why did you stop playing it?

I dunno much about this whole "Persona" thing - these games were released after my time. I did some digging last night and I'm kinda amused by the fact that the first game appears to be rated "K-A."

I think that's the biggest disparity between box art and ESRB rating I've ever seen.

Yep the 90s were a different world.

Here's the rating Persona 1's PSP port got in 2009:

I think stuff got skewed in weird directions due to the lack of E10+.

When I look at RPGs from that era I'd say something like Chrono Trigger was "underrated" with a K-A while something like Final Fantasy Anthology was "overrated" with a T.

We missed a lot of content in the original release, too. Probably some changes were made to slide in under rating.

Ah see, this is why I shouldn't post when I'm super tired.

I have not finished Persona 3, but I think I might finish that up before 5 and after Automata. I meant to finish 3 before 5 came out, but I honestly just got distracted haha.

To sum that up, my game plan (not including any super short games I might play):

Nier: Automata -> Persona 3 Portable -> Persona 5 or 999 (depending if I need a Persona break or not).
