Beat it, ending:
I think I got the bad ending, I went for the "greater good" and cured Zoe... oops haha.

Redfield... Chris? Didn't look or sound like him at all.

Umbrella helicopter!?

Definitely the, "Bad ending." I can tell you what happens in the other ending if you like. As for the helicopter and everything. There is going to be a free DLC later this year called, "I'm Not a Hero," that may be from the perspective of the so-called, "Redfield." Everyone who has seen him does not think it is him either. Who knows! We will find out soon enough I think. The final boss seemed like a breeze compared to a lot of the other boss fights in the game. Of course, I wouldn't know... I didn't play it haha!
I am hoping that this is the jump start that Capcom needed to get their bearings and start fresh without being a reboot/remake. I hope that they continue down this path... if not in mechanics, at least in small intimate spaces. I commend them for that. We do not need BIGGER AND BADDER!

I'd be game for them to continue this style back with the classic characters. Ethan doesn't really stand out, but perhaps it was a neat way for everyone and the player to dive into this new style blind and inexperienced.

The last boss was indeed a joke, fight wise. Sonic CD final boss tier easiness. lol

Ending:
I checked it out on youtube, looks like Mia survives and they fly away. Yeah I definitely chose wrong haha.

I see some theories that this Redfield is actually HUNK, since HUNK is some kind of Umbrella soldier. That could be interesting.

two things...

1. I'm at the part in RE7 where I'm trying to get into that little cellar, but after I grab the key I can't make it to the hatch without getting my leg removed by a shovel. This part is stressing me out big time.

2. When I played Revelations 2 on PC there was no co-op option (I don't think). But there is on consoles. Does anyone know if this has changed or not? Or am I just remembering it wrong to begin with?

IIRC Revelations 2 had an online co-op option on console from the start but no local option (which is still the case AFAIK). Not sure about PC.

hmm, weird. I'm pretty sure the PC version does have local co-op, but not online.

Actually Co-Optimus says that the PC version has online play (and only in Raid Mode), but no local and the Xbox One version has local but no online. If that's true then there's actually a reason for me to pick up the Xbox one in the future as I had planned to play it with my wife.

Played Rev2 last year, co-op was there.

Get RE6 bro. My money is on you enjoying it and I hear it's one of the best with co-op. Also while I love RE5, there's no denying that their changes to RE6's buddy system was perfect for single player. I don't remember your partners really being worth a damn or doing anything, but that's the thing... you don't have to worry about them at all with item management, ammo, they are invincible, etc anything. It's like Dead Space 3 and you can go through the campaign without even knowing your partner is always around.

I don't know if you played Rev2 yet though, but that one is probably the most interesting with co-op because each character has different abilities and usage.

RE6 does interest me for sure. You've def done a lot to move it up my list. I don't have that one yet, though. But I'll get to it.

I played through the first episode of Rev2 when it first came out. Solo and on PC. I loved it but never continued on for some reason. Anyway, I feel like the local co-op is a real reason to get it on Xbox rather than PC.

If it says anything the prison/first level of Rev2 was my least favorite. Loved the levels from that point on and it just kept getting better.

What's Operation Raccoon City like, is it kinda Socom meets RE. I'm curious and seems there's polarizing to negative feedback. I'm looking for a 3rd person shooter with offline modes and squad tactics if any.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
