Re: Games Acquired 2015
Bought Bayonetta 2. Not too bad on price, 20% coupon + 10% Pro membership at GameStop got me a copy for $30. The neat thing about it is that it comes with the original Bayonetta as well. On top of that, you get those ridiculous Nintendo suits for her to wear (Peach, Link, Samus, Daisy) that apparently have gameplay tweaks to them, at least from their descriptions.

I might be missing a key piece of info here, but otherwise you can get cheaper Xbox stuff than that just about anywhere. Did the market shift and I didn't notice? Serious question.Markies wrote: Ristar was the most expensive, but the most expensive game for the XBOX was Doom 3 and that was the Limited Collector's Edition that I payed $18. The most expensive XBOX game that I found was Knights of the Old Republic 2 and that was $25. So, XBOX games are super cheap and very easy to come by.
However, the console itself, controllers and Memory Card are another story. Working XBOX's are hard to come by as most of them have tray problems in opening and closing them. First party controllers are hard to find and so is the Memory Card.

Looking at the prices for KOTOR 2 on eBay, apparently so. Complete copies are running about $25.

I think the PS2, GC, and Xbox games are probably going to start rising from now on while the PS3/360 will start hitting rock bottom. Most of the used PS2, Xbox, and GC stuff that I find in the wild right now is pretty heavily scratched up with decent deals on good condition items getting harder and harder to come by.

Re: Games Acquired 2015
GC games are getting really expensive especially games made by Nintendo. I almost found Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance this weekend, but it was $80 without the manual, over $100 complete. Double Dash and Pikmin are both over $40. There are some PS2 games that are getting expensive, but not many because of how many were sold.Fragems wrote:I think the PS2, GC, and Xbox games are probably going to start rising from now on while the PS3/360 will start hitting rock bottom. It is going to be a slow rise, but they will begin to have some value. PS3/360/Wii games are really tanking at the moment. Most Wii games are super cheap, even the ones made by Nintendo that were popular. PS3 games are getting cheap as well and 360 prices are in the toilet. So, now is the time to buy for those consoles if you are in the market.
They are all going to rise once again. N64 games are getting really expensive. I saw Smash Brothers for like $60 this weekend.
Re: Games Acquired 2015
I think the Wii games thanks to the Wii U compatibility aren't going to tank as bad as the PS3/360 at least not the popular ones. In fact alot of the Wii RPGs and first party titles have gone up over the past year and it seems like game stop has moved away from trying to flush them out of their system.

Twas my plan all along!Markies wrote:PS3 games are getting cheap as well and 360 prices are in the toilet. So, now is the time to buy for those consoles if you are in the market.
But here's my most recent purchase:
If you've got a Vita and you dig DRPGs, buy it sooner than later to support NISA.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: Games Acquired 2015
Yup PS3 prices are gettin low even around here (a country where piracy reins supreme and retail copy's are more expensive than usual because "they're legit") i can get 10$ a piece on PS3 games.
This week i got:
-Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe
-Portal 2
-Final Fantasy XIII-2
And Yoshi's Island on the GBA.
I should not list that final fantasy since im not going to play, i buy so a friend can play it at home when he comes by
. The destiny of that game is trade material as soon that those credits roll.

Snagged Ultima Underworld I/II on GOG. I think I've got disc-based versions of one or both of them, but $1.19 was too cheap for me to resist. I'm thinking of doing the same at some point with Descent I/II. I know I've got disc versions of those. One of them is sealed even!
