Hmm...I think I'll have to look up which answers those are, it's not clear to me. I think I originally chose left the first two times and right the last time.MrPopo wrote:That means you're Law at the moment. Now whether that means you're just barely Law or massively Law is unknown; you'll have to see what he says after you make the decisions (assuming you make the Chaos decisions).

I went Chaos as best as I could tell for most of the game. I must've made a couple decisions in there somewhere to swing it towards neutral. I might have to look at a guide to see what I did.

They do. Most decisions you make in the game affect alignment. There are a couple of times where the decision is "Advance the game" or "Back out so I can save" which also affect alignment, in that advancing the game will change your alignment. The main time where your decisions might not affect alignment is boss fights. Most of the time when bosses ask you questions it's to give you an opportunity to affect the fight (weaken boss, weaken yourself, etc). But as you get further there will be bosses who ask you alignment questions (but those should be obvious).CavZee wrote:I went Chaos as best as I could tell for most of the game. I think I am heavily Law based on looking at a guide just now I am around +22 before those questions in the temple. If I answer strictly Chaos I should go down to +11. Hopefully I will have time to swing it to neutral before it truly matters.MrPopo wrote:They do. Most decisions you make in the game affect alignment. Plenty of time. Just try to save before big decisions and check your alignment after. There will also be a period of time when you cannot check your alignment eventually.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV
got myself some new armor in Tokyo, so now I look more like the dude on the cover of SJ. (Is that an intentional connection?) I don't feel like my character looks as cool now as he did in the Blue Armor, but eh, it was a free upgrade.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV
The Demonica armor is a wink towards Strange Journey, but there isn't any actual connection between the two games. There's a few other previous game cameos in IV.

Yeah, I'm neutral now, I must've been closer to neutral than I thought.ZenErik wrote:Plenty of time. Just try to save before big decisions and check your alignment after. There will also be a period of time when you cannot check your alignment eventually.
