Please do not compare South Park to Family Guy ever again.

Season 2 - Okay, cool. We're starting to find our voice, our purpose and our style. The show is finding its groove and people are digging it
Season 3 - Running on all cylinders, our show is officially great. We've got this shit down
Season 4 - So what now? Time to experiment and try something new. Go outside the comfort zone and hope we don't fuck up a good thing
Season 5 - Okay, we've gone through our experimental phase. We're a more well rounded show as a result. we're fresh and interesting again, we're seasoned and we have four seasons of continuity, mythology and actors who know their roles like the back of their hand. Let's bring it all together for the best season ever and knock this shit out of the park!
House seemed that way to me too. Although it managed to remain awesome in season 6.

Well, since Matt and Trey spent two episodes of their show comparing themselves to Family Guy and another one comparing themselves to the Simpsons I think it's fair game. Family Guy, at its best moments, was just as good as South Park no matter what Matt and Trey say. It's long past its prime now though

Wow, we actually agree on something. Even after it's umpteenth season, South Park is still funny. Family Guy stopped being funny a few seasons back. And Simpsons lost it years ago.

I love the beginning seasons of the episodes because it was more closer to the Tracy Ullman show with little psychological jokes and then the Simpsons started getting involved with Politics, especially with Season 2 which was one of my favorite with Mr. Burns running for Governor. It was episodes like these I thought were very enjoyable, and now they were more focused on running gags and making the characters more clich'e and setting stiff rules on the characters and contradicting them such as Lisa being very concerned about stealing and then changing her to become a Bhuddist and left it at that feeling we can't change the character anymore.

I loved King of the Hill as long as Mike Judge was writing the gags out because it felt like there were other writers doing other gags such as a focus on Bobby, Kahn Jr., well that side of the group where Mike Judge did his on the 4 guys, at least that's how I perceived it.

When I seen the episode of South Park bashing Family Guy, it's pretty much how I felt with their ideas being poorly written and gags lazily set up with Peter Griffin going "Do you remember the time" which turns me off.

On a lighter note, remember when Ren & Stimpy had new episodes on Adult Swim? If only Janet Jackson didn't sell them out x.x

Wow! Seriously. Wow!

This last week's episode of Young Justice made me go from liking the show to loving it! It was jam packed with action. We saw the original Justice League kicking ass for a good chuck of the episode. Then, we saw Young Justice mixing it up with some bad guys as well. This episode felt like their graduation day. They took on some big time bad guys in this episode and were all part of a coordinated plan of attack with the Justice League to deal with this week's villains.

We got plenty of face time with this show's version of the Joker and we got to see a face off between him and Robin, who was all kinds of awesome in this episode by the way. Then there's the dialog. Artemis has a GREAT line where she says, "I feel naked, but not in a fun way." I'm pretty sure that joke wasn't for the kiddies.

This episode reminded me of the fun I used to have watching episodes of the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited episodes from the old DC Animated Universe. Great stuff

Yes, finally.

Also, I'm going to pre-emptively duck here - I don't like Young Justice's version of Joker. The LOOK is ok for me. But the voice? Is that a really bad impression of James Woods I hear? Why not just get effing James Woods? James Woods would be awesome (see Hades).

Anyway, I wasn't a big fan of John DiMaggio doing Joker in Under the Red Hood BUT I WAS OK with it. I accepted it and he put his own cool spin on it. Plus, it was DiMaggio, so... yeah. Props even if I didn't really gel with his rendition.

I'm not sure why they didn't get Conroy and Hamill to reprise their *amazing* roles, but I'm cool with Greenwood-Batman. That's actually pretty damn impressive. I like it. I love Nolan North as Superman/Connor. But I did NOT like that Joker.

Does anyone know who plays Joker in YJ? (please dont let it be James Woods because then I would look like a tool.)
