In general I'm not caring for Painkiller: Resurrection as much as the original, as it seems to have some technical issues with slowdown and its physics engine.
Anyway, does anyone know of a decent specialty website dedicated to First Person Shooters? You know, like what shmups.com or shoryuken.com do for shmups and fighting games, respectively?
Actually yeah, I've watched the first handful of those videos, going from the start up to the mid-1990s. Funny enough, there were a few games in there that I could remember playing but couldn't remember the names of, like Pathways into Darkness. Classic stuff.
Have you guys played Cybermage? Sounds like Warren Spector had a bit hand in that one, been interested in it for awhile but it doesn't sound like many have played it... lol.
Started playing Darkest of Days. It certainly isn't an A title and it has flaws, but it is nice to have a different environment to run around in and some of the atmosphere in the civil war chaos while frantically reloading your rifle has been cool.
Finished Darkest of Days last level tonight. Got a little weird and plot crazy at the end setting up for a sequel. I got $4 worth out of fun out of it and actually wanted to keep playing until I finished, unlike another game.
