Trax for Gameboy
Super Mario RPG for SNES
Ikaruga for Gamecube *new* It took a can of Full Throttle and seven continues but damn, that was the most fun I've had with a video game in a while. I'm still feeling the adrenaline. I think I'm hooked on shmups now.

Total for 2011: 3
Total for 2010: 36

Thoughts on the Game(s)

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast - PC, Since this has been in my steam library for such a long time I figured I should try it out. For the 20 minutes it lasted it was an enjoyable addition.

2/13 SNK Gals Fighter (NGPC)
2/15 Capcom vs SNK: Match of the Millenium (DC)

For years Capcom vs SNK2 has been one of my all time favorite fighters. I had a fairly negative opinion of the original having only played a nerfed PSX port of it. After spending the last couple of days with the dreamcast port I am starting to think that the original might be better than the sequel. The SNK characters feel much more balanced with the Capcom crew and with only the two 'isms', I don't feel like I am skipping half the games content. Also, the aesthetics of the game are vastly more pleasing.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Capcom Vs SNK for the DC gets a lot of 2 player action at my house.
I love the ratio system in place.

I picked up the JPN for $5 posted.

Not the best, but then again, they could have done worse.

And shot in the dark, but...

Midway is now owned by Warner Bros and is called Warner Bros Games. WB also owns New Line, who in turn owns the following three badasses:

So... hint hint hint, WB Games. Might make some decent DLC for the reboot. And if not all three, then at least Freddy. His maniacal personality, sadistic humor and twisted sense of imagination makes him a great Mortal Kombatant.

Warioware, Inc. (Gba)
Half Life 2: Episode 1 (Ps3)
Half Life 2: Episode 2 (Ps3)
Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins (Gb)
Resident Evil 5 (Ps3)
Radiant (IPod Touch)
Space Invaders Extreme 2 (Ds) *NEW*

Total: 10

Got this with my Ds a few days ago. Pretty quick game, but really fun. I felt like i had to play with the sound on cause the music/sounds are just to awesome. Besides the craziness of the backround constantly moving and the flashly colors, the visuals looked nice, but all the craziness was too much. Overall a fun Space Invaders game.

Since I got my ds, I've been bombarded by a ton of ds games to play, so lately I've just been playing Mariokart or Space Invaders. Next would be to hopefully to chip away at Paper Mario until March. Im a little Shmup'd out now
