What was the last game you finished?
Re: What was the last game you finished?
Rome Total War. So many hours spent, managed to capture the 50th city with 5 of my own about to fall in the next turn
Thanks everyone...
Re: What was the last game you finished?
Got a couple to add to the list!
:: EDIT :: Removed list to conserve space, full list is on the most recent post.
Indiana Jones was such a frustrating experience, but all around a satisfying game. There were several levels which had to be extremely precise, such as the boulder chase (a.k.a. THE SECOND FREAKING LEVEL!! I died and continued so many times on this level when I first sat down with this game...) and the bi-plane dog fight. If you made ONE mistake on these levels you were more often than not finished. Two mistakes and you're DEFINITELY done. For as difficult as the final levels were, the final boss was comparatively simple - just had a rather crazy pattern to adjust yourself to. Great game for an Indiana Jones fan!
I had to shut Mega Man X off after several attempts on Sigma's final form. Ridiculously difficult. However, I realized the difficulty was, in fact, a glitch in the game. The final boss consists of three battles. First you battle Sigma's dog, then Sigma, then Sigma's giant Wolf Mech Suit. I found that during the first fight with Sigma, I couldn't use any reserve tanks - so I got it down pat and could beat him without taking a single hit. But what did I find the next fight? I could only use ONE reserve tank! I thought it was limited on purpose, you know... for challenge? I thought it was weird, but whatever. After coming back, I could use reserve tanks whenever, and blew through the Mech Suit on my first try. Fun addition to the Mega Man franchise!

This so doesn't count but I just "finished" the lite version of ESPGALUDA II on the iPhone... Gotta buy the full version.

Just finished of Onimusha. I beat it several years ago, but picked up all 3 a little while ago so I'm working my way through them again.

Two more to add!

Goof Troop was really fun, my wife and I played it together. She played Max and I played Goofy. Goofy is slower, but stronger and Max is faster and weaker. It's essentially a combination of Puzzle games like Lolo and overhead action-exploration style games like Zelda (though not as complex, obviously). You're objective: Solve all the puzzles and defeat the boss at the end of each stage. Simple premise, but it makes for rather compelling gameplay. It's fun figuring out the puzzles and the team work element made it a really fun 2-Player Cooperative.
Phew... Castlevania IV. Man, it was tough. I started my game probably about 3 weeks ago and got stuck on the Mummy boss. Came back to it last night and beat it. Easily one of the best Castlevania's, and I would say currently tied for my favorite with Symphony of the Night. A Must for any Castlevania fan.

Ren and Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention (GEN)
Co-opped that shit up with the lil bro! Not that hard or anything, but fun. I used to watch that show ALL the time back in the day, and still do from time to time.

Great games. The second is my favorite. Don't forget the fourth one, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams.
