I bought the Gamecube game Odama from a local game store here in Winnipeg. I wanted to buy the game because of how weird and unique it is, plus I've never played it. The box is kind of banged up but the microphone and everything is with it.
When I got home and pulled everything out I was really surprised because the game itself is still in the factory seal. The microphone and mount piece are also in their bags but they aren't sealed. I guess the previous owner bought the game just for the microphone or something. I know that it is a factory seal and not just a crappy shrink wrap because my brother used to work in a second hand game store where and they had a shrink wrap machine and I've bought hundreds of games brand new so I can easily tell the difference.
I thought 15 bucks for the complete game was a pretty decent but now I feel like I got an amazing deal because of it never being opened. I am going to buy a 2nd copy so I can actually play the game, and I can leave this one in the seal.
Heres some pictures. Kinda hard to tell that its sealed but I did my best that I can do with my iPhone camera.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I've been hoping to come across a copy of Odama like that. I like the strange premise of the game... like RTS meets Pinball or whatever.
I recently found Rule of Rose for $15. Not the greatest deal, but I turned it down for $20 (brand new) awhile back and never saw it again. I was starting to worry I wouldn't come across it again. It's got such a great creepiness to the cut scenes.

Mentioned this somewhere before. Those holders are impossible to find with the Microphone.
However still can be purchased at Nintendo site, get em before they are gone.

Vampire Hunter mint with spine card, perfect condition overall, $1 + $4 shipping lol.
And Rez JP DC for $21 + $4 shipping, absolutely mint with spine card as well; guy claims to never have touched it without gloves on (a little extreme if you ask me but I'm not complaining! He had Ikaruga to but I didn't have $50 to spend on it at the time).

Magnavox CD-i console that works but needs the drive to be manually inserted and ejected: $9
I'm honestly thinking about returning the thing to goodwill as after five minutes of research it's just looking worse than I remember hearing it being.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
there's a tiny part of me that wants a CDi and all three Zelda games...
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Pretty sure there's a tiny part in everyone that knows it exists that wants to experience how shitty it REALLY is.
I just won't do it as I don't fathom buying a console that barely works with three games that are just frustrating to play. That's not fun, that's an anger problem being diagnosed.
Back on topic, awesome pickup on Odama. If I could find a copy of it used at a Gamestop near my house, which I've been having no luck lately, I'd check it out myself.
