Melatonin, depending on the dosage, does nothing for me or gives me nightmares. Nothing in-between. On the flipside, I don't drink a ton of caffeine yet I have a high tolerance to caffeine. I can drink a caffeinated beverage right before bed and have no trouble falling asleep.

A heating pad plus acetaminophen (avoid ibuprofen since you have IBS) usually takes care of muscle pains when I have them. Thankfully that is pretty rare.

I've found the secret to a good sleep is cat snugs.

Doesn’t work if the cat wants active snuggles every 45 min or so.

That just means you didn't snuggle right the first time. Really, this one's on you.

My cat's a poor communicator re: precise snuggle needs.

But you should have experience with poor communicators through your experience raising a chid.

My cat goes through phases. Right now he's in a wake me up between 3 and 5 am phase.

:D Guess who slept for around 13 hours and just paid off their PS5?

And before you ask, today was my first full day off in a week. Weekends are the worst since I have to go into my morning job at 6:40 in lieu of 7 like on weekdays and the have to work my afternoon job 1-9 in lieu of 2-9 like on weekdays.

:D Bought a new projector. It was $120 marked down from $150 and that's BEFORE the 50% off coupon that led to it costing $65 after taxes.

And before you ask, it does 4K while my old one doesn't. It can also apparently project onto a screen of up to 200". Of course I'm sticking with my 100" screen.
