I urge you to reconsider, as driving in a long competitive match is physically grueling and very dangerous at high speeds, with drivers needing high levels endurance and quick reflexes to even have a chance of winning. It may be a different kind of physical activity, but it is still more physical than you realize.MrPopo wrote:It's also not a sport.Ack wrote:We've also only done one of each sport except for Auto Racing, since it's popular enough to be considered its own genre.

From the RPG poll, it seems that KOTOR will be staying, but Pokemon will be dropped. Perhaps a new poll can be taken with choices being Golf/Tennis/Hockey to replace Pokemon. Maybe include fishing too?
POLL:
Waialai
Virtua Tennis
NHL '94
(fishing?)
I think I would choose hockey.

SNESdrunk did a video recently of all SNES/Super Famicom hockey games:Lazer wrote:Speaking of hockey games, which one has the best fighting? And I mean retro games - I'm sure modern (last and current gen) hockey games have realistic fighting.

You might ask him about what he thinks were the best fighting mechanics.

Thanks, I'll check that out that later this afternoon.

Oh, I'm not arguing it's not demanding or taxing or requires a high level of specialization and training. It's just not a sport.Ack wrote:I urge you to reconsider, as driving in a long competitive match is physically grueling and very dangerous at high speeds, with drivers needing high levels endurance and quick reflexes to even have a chance of winning. If we end up getting rid of pokemon via the poll, my vote would be for NHL 94. The game is a lot of fun and the Sega cd version is the bomb. Such a fun game that really emphasizes the visceral impact of hockey.

I'd go Waialai, but i'd be happy with any of those. I played a lot of Bass Fishing on DC last year, so would like Tennis or Hockey, but all appeal to me at least a bit.Lazer wrote:From the RPG poll, it seems that KOTOR will be staying, but Pokemon will be dropped. If Harvest Moon loses, I'd love to get folks to play World Heroes.

I like World Heroes. Are you thinking the series...or a specific one?
