My friend gave them to me to donate as his 360 took a dump about 6 months ago. I've been trying to fix it but the video keeps coming and going even after replacing the x-clamps and thermal compound. Tuesday last week got fed up and traded all his games in and gave me the instruments when I mentioned the auction. They were all working fine when he put them in the closet and they're in good shape. I don't think any of the instruments have had more than occasional use over 5-6 months. If the drum pads map to normal buttons and I can get his 360 to keep video for more than a few minutes, I can pop in a demo of a normal game and try to check.heelsinc wrote: Not to be a pain or anything but do we know who donated these and can they confirm the drums work? Those things have a tendency to break and I'm actually looking for a new set as mine did break. So I would be all over this auction if we can confirm that.

Hobie, the four drum pads correspond with the four face buttons. Green and red will match with the green and red Xbox buttons, but I'm not sure if blue and yellow match or are flipped.Hobie-wan wrote:My friend gave them to me to donate as his 360 took a dump about 6 months ago. Well dammit the 360 is being a SOB and not giving me video again. Hitting the green pad did open up the tray, which is what it should do with a controller hooked up to the system with no HD and no game in. My friend said all the instruments were fine when the 360 crapped out on him and he put them in the closet. So the drums should be just fine.MrPopo wrote:Hobie, the four drum pads correspond with the four face buttons. I'm going to be heading to my parents soon and don't have time to fight the 360 to get video again right now. I won't be back until tomorrow evening. Maybe I'll have a change on Saturday before things end, but the drums should be fine.
