I drink silk milk, have you looked into that? Low fat, but very low calorie, and lots of protein and calcium. Tastes a bit bland but I've grown to quite like it.Ziggy587 wrote:I only drink organic milk these days, and not nearly as much as I use to.
I was pretty much raised on oatmeal so I'm immune to the blandness myself. If you like to add brown sugar flavoring but don't like to up your sugar intake, Splenda makes and artificial brown sugar now. I'm not sure if it's new or what, but I just recently discovered it, and can vouch for it.I like oatmeal, but it's hard to eat without adding sugar.

That does make sense, but isn't seeing a half-blank resume also a little... not kosher?gtmtnbiker wrote:As someone who interviews a lot of people, this is very true.BRIK wrote:I found its good with resumes to just get to the point, and not bullshit around. Usually employers will have to look through heaps when a new job opens up, they don't want to have to read through a wall of text.
I'm very much a Jack-of-All-Trades dude. If I take out irrelevant experience, my resume ends up with a lot of holes. (So, what did you do... for two years between colleges? Nothing related to how well I can perform as a copywriter.)
Also, ticked off that I just found out Wikipedia has a "Simple English" section (simple.wikipedia.org) -- As an information nerd: NNNNGGGH!

Raisins are a good way to sweeten it. I put the needed amount of water and add raisins. Once the water is boiling, I add the oatmeal and simmer until it's done. The raisins become plump and juicy.Ziggy587 wrote: I like oatmeal, but it's hard to eat without adding sugar.

Changing my diet and having boiled eggs for breakfast everyday is probably the best I'm I've ever done eating wise. Its nice to have something cooked (other than toast), it's easy as balls to cook and it keeps you full for a lot longer.
Well I wouldn't just write halfway down and leave it at that. Spread it out, make it fill up the whole page but it make it easy to read in easy to read chunks.pakopako wrote:That does make sense, but isn't seeing a half-blank resume also a little... not kosher?

Apparently soy isn't too great. If you consume it enough, eventually your body wont be too pleased with it. In an effort to get more protein, I've been having a soy protein drink at work every day. Anyway, I'm not really concerned about the fat or calories, I'm more concerned with hormones and mad cow disease. That's why I drink organic milk. It tastes better too, go figure. But I was having problems with my sinuses, and milk doesn't help that situation.brunoafh wrote:I drink silk milk, have you looked into that? Is Splenda the one that's the chemical that causes cancer? Or is that Equal? I always confuse them. I do know of an another sweetener that is suppose to be very good, I think it was called Stevia. Have you heard of it? I haven't tried it yet.I was pretty much raised on oatmeal so I'm immune to the blandness myself. The problem is I hate raisins in most cases.gtmtnbiker wrote:Raisins are a good way to sweeten it. I put the needed amount of water and add raisins. Once the water is boiling, I add the oatmeal and simmer until it's done. The raisins become plump and juicy.

I'm not entirely sure, but I use Truvia, which is Stevia. It's not a natural sweetener so I like it for that reason.Ziggy587 wrote:Is Splenda the one that's the chemical that causes cancer? I'm not a big fan of raisins as well but I like them better when they're plump & juicy. You might want to try a few in your oatmeal and see if it makes a difference.Ziggy587 wrote:The problem is I hate raisins in most cases.gtmtnbiker wrote:Raisins are a good way to sweeten it. I looked it up and supposed both Splenda and Equal are "known" to cause cancer. It seems like everything "causes cancer" now a days. Also... don't you smoke cigs?Ziggy587 wrote:Is Splenda the one that's the chemical that causes cancer? Or is that Equal? I always confuse them.
