Nintendo reported a financial loss this year. Being in the red isn't good.

97mg when I woke up.
149mg after breakfast (Captain Crunch cereal), after about an hour.

How's that looking?...

@Ziggy587: Well I think I explained my crappy diet above, or I'm just confusing that with discussing this with some others... lol. I usually have a bowl of cereal every morning, lately it's either Honey Nut Cheerios, Captain Crunch, or Apple Jacks. For lunch I've been nonstop having mostly pasta based microwaved meals, pastas and rice mixes, and I usually bring some chips. Potato chips or pretzels (I prefer pretzels). Then at work I've been having a Sprite almost everday for the last few weeks, but finally just had water Monday and Tuesday this week, then Gatorade yesterday, still felt awful a few hours later. I think I felt better in the previous weeks when I'd take a "dessert" chocolate fiber bar with my lunch.

After that I tend to just have more crap processed food when I got home for dinner, maybe a frozen pizza, or a simple sandwich, and more chips.

That really sums it up lately. Awful stuff.

Yes, indeed. It's all carbs.

Eat more healthy stuff: apples, carrots, beans, oranges, grapes, broccoli, etc.

Part of it is due to the high value of the yen. A huge chunk of their sales is in the US an Europe. After conversion to yen they aren't making as much per sale.

Well it's no wonder why you feel like shit. You're eating shit.

Your breakfast is actually horrible. I know, I know, I love cereal so fucking much, but I don't eat it any more (I still eat hot cereal). It's just a big bowl of stuff you shouldn't be eating. Those cereals you listed are mostly grains, sugars, and preservatives. Your lunch sucks even worse.

Do you like eggs? For breakfast, try eating a few eggs. If you don't have time in the morning to cook, make some hard boiled eggs beforehand so you can just grab them in the morning. They heat up easy, too. Or put peanut butter on toast. Either way, it's protein and fat.

Bring a sandwich for lunch. Ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, something like that. Tuna fish or peanut butter and jelly would be better that some shitty microwave pasta lunch. Also, just cut the soda out completely.

As a general rule I agree completely, but there are some good cereals out there. Most cereal made by Kashi is good for you. I eat their Whole Grain Puffs with dried fruit and almonds pretty much every morning.

@Xeogred

Yeah dude, that's not good at all. You need to make some diet changes. I don't know what type of diet you're after, or if you want to lose weight/get in shape, so it's hard for me to give anything more than basic suggestions. For breakfast eggs are definitely a good idea. Cut down on the carbs (especially the shit ones like the cereal you're eating) big time, that's why your sugar levels are fucked up. Soda and Gatorade isn't helping either, would be best for you to drop both all together, but at very least try to make an effort to drink as much water as possible. The processed foods are also terrible for you, get some fresh stuff from a deli for lunch/dinner. Adding some fruit and vegetables would be great too. Instead of munching on pretzels for random munchies for a snack, try stir frying or steaming some vegetables, or have an apple or a banana.

Just try to make one positive change at a time. Reducing the carbs and sugar should be your main priority. If you keep that diet up it's pretty much a guarantee you're going to continue to feel shitty.

I'm in the same process with the diet change (more than I already had, that is) and that's all vital stuff.

About your sugar level, 97 before eating is in the safe range for a non diabetic. 149 after is kinda high, but as Ziggy and Bruno already mentioned, that's the result of breaking fast with the Cap'n.

Its hard to change your diet permanently and it can be a pain in the ass to do all of the extra preparation of food that comes with staying away from crappy boxed and preserved junk, but you can do it and it will pay off.

I don't wanna dog pile you with all the diet critiques but you gotta start cooking real meals at night, dawg. Healthy filling stuff. Get some haddock and some chicken boobies, green veggies, brown rice, quinoa, etc. I used to eat like ass until I realized it only took me about half an hour to cook a real meal.

This has me thinking about my own diet and well...

...I don't think I actually HAVE a diet. I kinda just eat random crap all day. Burgers, frozen pizzas, sugary cereal, on rare occasion I'll cook a steak or make meatloaf or something.

I should probably get my diet whipped into shape too. I don't feel BAD, but I know I could probably feel a lot better.

It's also important to note that it's rarely a good idea to make a HUGE change all at once. If you vastly cut back your sugar intake immediately, it shouldn't be so bad. But it's not good to go from a strict diet X to a strict diet Y, you should do it gradually.

@brunoafh: Yeah, there's some good cereals out there. I like some EnviroKids. There's one that I like in particular, I forget what it's called, but it's basically like Corn Flakes. It's gluten free (made from rice I think) and sweetened with grape juice (if I remember correctly). The sugar is the most important thing, in my opinion. I like Special K, but the ingredients aren't as good. It's 50/50 rice and wheat IIRC, and I think it's sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. You still have to get around the milk though. Milk isn't the best thing to be drinking in large quantities. I only drink organic milk these days, and not nearly as much as I use to.

I like oatmeal, but it's hard to eat without adding sugar. I put some cinnamon in it so it's not so bland, and I'll add brown sugar (slightly better than white sugar - though still not good to be eating). I guess I shouldn't complain though, I consume so much less sugar these days then I use to. And I usually have much more protein then I use to.
