In general I've seen cutscene QTEs fade out. You still see them to punctuate a cinematic moment of a fight but failing them tends to just be a consequence of "take some damage", and they seem to be quite forgiving. Just a way to keep you engaged with the rhythm of fighting, rather than pausing to watch a video.

I hear you. I hate going up there for work. i heard our interstate system was modeled after atlanta and i can believe it. Take 1 and half hous for me to go 15 miles to downtown nashville. Its like the office space move intro for fucks sake lol..

I loved Shenmue, apart from its contributions to Quick Time Events becoming common.
Also loved Shenmue and Shenmue II. Don't think it deserves to be lumped in with those other titles. Lol.
I don't mind QTE sequences, but I haven't played a game with them in quite a while.
I really liked Shenmue II as well, but I haven't tried Shenmue III yet. I've been hesitant to try long games ever since becoming a parent. I tried to start Majora's Mask when my daughter was a baby and realized that I didn't have time to sit and play for an hour or two uninterrupted anymore, so I've mostly only played shorter games in the meantime.
That may be changing now that they're older. I started Breath of the Wild a couple of months ago and have been able to enjoy and stick with it. It does help that the switch is easy to pick up and put down, but I've managed to play for a couple of hours at night pretty regularly.
But I really hate QTEs. I don't mind directional ones as much, with arrows and stuff, but I really, really hate the ones that make you press a face button. I've just spent hours learning the buttons for jump, attack, shoot, and run. Now you're asking me to press Square? What the heck is Square? Is that the attack button? Because I know the attack button. I haven't committed "Square" to memory.
It's a football rivalry between the Saints and the Falcons. Even the big "Rebirth" statue outside the Superdome in New Orleans to showcase the team's (and consequently the city's) resilience after Hurricane Katrina depicts Saints player Steve Gleason blocking a punt...at the Falcons' expense. While it is a fitting memorial to Gleason, who subsequently retired from the NFL and was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease a couple of years later, it's also a reminder to us that their resilience came at our expense.
But that's pretty typical for Falcon fans. 28-3 will forever be emblazoned in my memory, and then Brady had to show up on another team in our division and go win yet another Super Bowl. Hell, the last time there was a Super Bowl held in Atlanta, the two teams nearly ended up being the Saints and the Patriots, and even the mayor was threatening to riot.
Bullshit they didnt use Cordarrelle Patterson, dude had like 5 yards a carry and a homerun threat. Or kyle pitts for that matter. Good luck Ridder lol.
