Smile: My score on Avalanche from two weeks ago is verified on RecordSetter! http://recordsetter.com/world-record/hi ... nche/13049
This was a week before I recorded it for Twin Galaxies. Since RecordSetter's rules are much more lenient for submission, I sent in a picture of the score I took with my phone.
3,451 points. Hopefully I can break 3,500 next time I get the chance.

How about a Zelda: OoT poster? eh? EH?!??!
Children's tylenol is an extra charge.
I have the Nintendo Power version of that exact poster. I think it was in Nintendo Power #114.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Good suggestions on the doctors, that is totally true... it's your time, not their time.
This just about sums up how I feel pretty often myself, so yeah.
Day three of this super weird week, and nothing has changed. I seem to be crashing super hard around 4pm, a few hours after lunch, no idea why... my meals or habits haven't really changed much since last week or anything. Maybe allergies are really kicking in and making things worse, who knows.
Either way I picked up a glucose meter testing thing, big thanks for the reminder CFFJR. Seriously, don't know why it slipped my mind, and this'll be something good to do for the next few days and then I'll have proof good or bad, to show doctors. Probably going to start it tomorrow...
But yeah, I can just completely tell this is not general fatigue right now this week or whatnot. 4pm hits and bam, I'm dizzy, irritable, super shaky (my anxiety seems crazier than normal lately), and yeah all this junk.
When I saw some doctor about this last year when the symptoms were a bit more mild, he did exactly what some of you guys said above. Wanted to push pills. Instantly figured I was depressed and needed to be on some antidepressants and needed more sleep. Bullshit, been there done that. The best advice I got out of him though, is that eating a slice of cheese or something with peanut butter, DOES give me a very good quick fix for awhile. Seriously I don't know why last night (maybe my mind was bogged down a lot by all this, lol), but I was extremely shaky, so I ate some cheese and bam... helped me relax and calm down. So cheese is the secret for me when I have really crazy minor attacks or whatever.
I'm still on Xanax too right now, which I'm sure isn't helping with the tiredness... but yeah, I definitely believe these anxiety issues are physically related at the core too. What scares me the most though is that off and on lately it seems like my vision is blurry, which is new to me. I have 20/20 vision and this never happened in the past... so, it's scary. So I must be THAT tired or messed up internally now or something...
I've always had a bad short term memory as well, but it's very easy to say it's extremely bad right now, way worse than ever before.
CFFJR wrote:harper wrote:Xeogred I hope you get it figured out and get to feeling better. I know how it is to feel like shit everyday. Not sure what my problem is but I've pretty much felt like shit every day that I can remember since some time in high school. There was one time when I was in 10th grade (I think), I broke out in hives and went to the doctor and found out I was severely anemic, like one notch above having to get a blood transfusion. I started taking iron and shortly after (maybe a month and a half into it) quit taking it because I never remembered to. I've been "fine" since but always feel like crap in some way or another and it's just aggravating, dragging through the day wishing you could just wake up once and not feel like shit before the day is over. I often feel nauseous, like I might pass out, my heart races and I have to catch my breath, it's almost like a panic attack, I don't know if it's that I still have low iron or what. I sometimes wonder if it's something to do with blood sugar because certain foods seem to trigger it sometimes, I think. But honestly I don't know. I haven't been to a doctor in forever.
Those can be signs of low blood sugar.
I know its none of my business, but if you feel that way a lot you really should get to a doctor.
I hate going to the doctor, believe me (the only doctor I've ever felt comfortable with has been retired for two years, can you guess where up until a week ago I hadn't been for two years?), but its worth checking something like that out.

I don't know how accurate it was (took awhile to figure the thing out), but I just did a test and it was 76mg, only 1-2 hours after I ate dinner.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

A friend's younger brother told me my resume is "too good".

Last year, my alma mater said it was "lackluster".
Gaaaaah.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.

I found its good with resumes to just get to the point, and not bullshit around. Usually employers will have to look through heaps when a new job opens up, they don't want to have to read through a wall of text.

I believe that's an ok reading.
Be sure to check it before you eat anything tomorrow morning. Especially if you wake up feeling bad.
Record it regularly for a few days, and you'll start to see where you're at pretty quickly.

As someone who interviews a lot of people, this is very true.

As someone who would charge anywhere between Free-$250 to write a resume, this is good advice, but would strongly advise to customize every resume to the job you are applying for. Some companies love four page resumes, others prefer a one pager. List accomplishments and how you changed the industry you worked in.
Smile: The weekend is coming a little early for me. Like in a few minutes I'll be leaving work to enjoy an extended vacation.
Ticked: I seriously have no idea what game(s) to play. I'm about to finish a 82 game regular season of NHL 2002 (the Cup is around the corner). When that's over, I need to think of a newer game to beat as most of my time is still directed towards retro games.
Been playing some Oblivion (fun, but too time consuming) and Castlevania Lords of Shadow (not that much fun but incredibly beautiful), but haven't found that game that draws me in. Thinking about picking up Arkham City, but if it's just a larger Asylum, I'll pass.

Guess what cheese and peanut butter have a lot of... fat and protein!
Ziggy587 wrote:If you eat a proper amount of fat and protein for lunch, without sugar, you wont crash and you probably wont be hungry again until normal dinner time.
If you don't mind, what exactly do you eat and drink each day?
