What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Update:
I've tried leaving it plugged in a couple of different times and it does not seem to be heating up so I'm assuming the brick is dead.
Would it be safe to try to sell the console itself claiming that it works or is that too risky? I'd really rather not spend money on another power brick just for the sake of selling it but I would also like to be sure I'm not trying to sell someone a crapped out super nintendo. Wish I knew someone I could borrow one from long enough to make sure everything else is fine and that's really all that's wrong with it.

Do you have a retro store nearby that you could take it in to and try there?

Yeah and that's probably what I'll end up doing. I'm just not sure when it'll be convenient to go do that.

Take the brick along just in case. Even if it is dead, the cord could be useful attached to a different brick since the SNES uses an odd plug.

Bad news: I've been feeling kind of stressed out/rushed lately, I'm not really sure why.

Good news: Going out tomorrow, hopefully I'll find some good stuff and maybe I'll even get to see if that Super Nintendo is still alive.

:? : I keep messing up what day it is. I woke up knowing it's Monday, but by the afternoon I had started thinking it was Thursday. And now, I just caught myself thinking it's Sunday.

:D I found out today that goodwill now only charges $2.50 for games instead of $5. The good thing about that, obviously, is it's easier to find good deals (meaning games I couldn' get cheaper by just ordering them on ebay) and the bad news is, the competition will eventually find out and that might lower my chances of finding anything.
