Hooray for theme levels. Let me know what you guys think of this one:

The one where Mario kills Yoshi.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Well I'm the first one to beat this level and I enjoyed it. Just so many dead Yoshi's, not even my own choosing.

I am glad someone finally did. I don't think it was super hard but most players have given up quickly.

I've noticed the same thing with my levels, it seems if they can't beat it in about three tries then they give up and move on.

I turned on Mario Maker for the first time in a few months. I upgraded a bunch of my levels with checkpoints and stackable power-ups. The site was down, so I couldn't update any of my level codes in the OP. But now that it's back up, I'll update them over the weekend. Also, looking forward to catch up on the level codes that have been added to this thread since I've last played!

I played a few levels posted in this thread, handed out some stars, still got some levels to play (Flake posted a lot since I last played!).

I also updated 4 of my levels. Mostly to add checkpoints and stackable powerups, also gave Boswer Jr the new fire clown copter thing, no other significant updates though. Although, notably, adding the check point to Spin Jump Insane should make that level a hell of a lot easier. The new version has been uploaded for about a week now and still no body has beat it...

Practice Castle (v3) - 3EC7-0000-014E-97C5
Spin Jump To Freedom (Insane) v3 - 4693-0000-014E-80E0
SMW Ghost House Antics (v2) - 289B-0000-014E-A61A
Fire and Ice (v2) - 2900-0000-014E-BC20

edit: typo

I finally have the game! And I made a level!

Currently, I only have the Day 1 tools (And now Day 2!). I thought it might be interesting to try to make something fun around what's available each day. Whether that means updating this course or making new ones, I'm not sure yet. I can already see some ways I could make this better with some of the locked out tools.

Day 1 - Super Classic Mario Bros. 1-1
    0306-0000-0183-B263

Day 2 - Super Classic Mario Bros. 1-2
    95D3-0000-0184-CB17

Let me know what you guys think. I'd like to make all the stuff I upload into really solid Mario levels, not just gimmicks or unfair stress tests. So, for all intensive purposes, if you're playing a level I made, consider it a play test!

Bogus, we need to talk about your Waluigi levels >_>

I've starred every RB level I've played so far, and have left comments on many of them. (If you want to see Parody Mario covers with Waluigi go look at Bogus' Waluigi levels ... because that's how I commented on them) A lot of these are interesting.

Alright! I have picked up Mario Maker again and will be hard at work making levels! I got to play everyone's new and updated levels and I have to say, all y'alls are giving me some competition!

Ziggy, your new updated levels are great. You fixed some design flaws in the ghost house level and I think it is quite the ingenious level, especially for a ghost house!

Flake, you are a monster, a beautiful, beautiful monster.

Crono!

I love your levels man! You were getting all down on yourself for thinking you are bad at making levels, but that is so far from the truth. Your stuff had the right level of challenging, hidden secrets and fun little tidbits! I really agree that people should try to tackle making levels in the natural progression of unlockables, at least initially until you really get the hang of it and are chomping at the bit. Crono's stuff is a great example of simple, yet effective.

You precision platforming is delightful!

Also mad props to Crono for his Waluigi pictures on my levels. Check them out, because for serial, they are awesome!
