Apparently the Wii U version is currently pretty poorly optimized with 30-35 second load times and a lot of framerate issues. If anyone is grabbing it for that please give a confirmation.

Great, that was the version I was originally thinking of getting...Gunstar Green wrote:Apparently the Wii U version is currently pretty poorly optimized with 30-35 second load times and a lot of framerate issues. If anyone is grabbing it for that please give a confirmation.

I downloaded it this morning on the Wii U, the load times are worse than advertised.
Almost a minute wait to load the options menu from the main menu. It's like everything has a least a 30sec loading time, even menu screens.

I've got a download code sitting in my inbox from when I backed it on Kickstarter (regretting that decision), but my Wii U hates my wifi for some reason, and I've already packed up the LAN adapter, so I'll be waiting until UPS delivers my physical copy tomorrow evening before I let the disappointment wash over me.

Ended up finding my LAN adapter when putting more stuff in a box. Download loading the game now. I'll give some impressions on the Wii U version tonight.

Wow - you got retail and digital? A real sucker for punishment...ElkinFencer10 wrote:I've got a download code sitting in my inbox from when I backed it on Kickstarter (regretting that decision), but my Wii U hates my wifi for some reason, and I've already packed up the LAN adapter, so I'll be waiting until UPS delivers my physical copy tomorrow evening before I let the disappointment wash over me.
(For the record, haven't played the game. Suspect it's not terrible despite very weak reviews - but it's also not something that I'm keen on trying or buying.)

So I saw this was making quite a buzz in all the video game places I visit on the internet. I just saw that sad excuse for a trailer, and it reminded me of a mobile game that probably did it far better -Ack wrote:So I suppose Inafune has had his "Romero's Bitch" moment, eh?
Shadow Blade
What's there left to say?

Reviews are in the 50's so far on Metacritic.... I hope you all have some fun with it anyway.

I'd give more in-depth opinions after playing half way through but pretty much everything I complained about before when the demo came out remains accurate. So to sum up my feelings:

Watching the developer release Livestream was kind of painful. It was more like a funeral than a celebration.
