so I'm planning to totally redo the original post to be even more informative. My idea is that for each of our list of possible titles, I'd like to include number of players available in each room, and also post links to amazon/gamestop/etc sources to buy each game new/used perhaps, and also list current prices for the current PSN titles. Good idea?

I'll probably throw up the January poll in the next day or two as well. I plan to include some of the games we haven't played yet (Arcana 3, MvC2 & 3, KOF94, Battle Fantasia, etc). Does anyone feel strongly about relisting any of the games we HAVE played already?

nope. I'm the one curating this, and I'm putting my time/effort into organizing it. So (selfishly?) it's going to just be the console that I play my fighting games on. If anyone else wants to make a fight night thread for another console, I'm all for it.

Nothing to stop you from doing that, Swift. Noise just revived an idea he and I had with a few other guys a couple months ago that I dropped the ball on.

The idea was to get a group together on a semi regular basis to game together as cheaply as possible. So the PSN was the obvious choice since it was the most common console on hand and the network is free.

King of Fighter XII dropped to $20.47 on amazon today. I picked it up new at that price.

Also grabbed Soul Caliber IV (non GH edition) for $10.95 on ebay.
