Very true. I don't have a 3DS yet, but I've played a couple of different demos at various stores and even just doing that it's easy to tell that some games just have better 3d development than others. I just recently saw the Zelda OoT demo and I gotta say, that one looked quite nice once I got the 3d slider in the right spot
Just got my 3ds the day the price dropped and i'm liking it. Zelda is a must have for it. I picked up DOA and Resident Evil at best buy for 20bucks each and ehhh, they are ok. probally trade them in
The japanese 3DS ambassor games for NES VC have been announced now:

Metroid
DK Jr
Ice Climber
Balloon Fight
Yoshi
Wrecking Crew
...Golf
Not a BAD list overall, but honestly they could've subbed out the bottom 6 for better stuff like Kid Icarus, Punch Out, etc. Still, the only real stinker overall is golf - blurgh. Although we could get different games elsewhere, I somehoe doubt it.

Thats what i thought, even though i own a good chunk of these. Mario, Zelda and metroid are all great, yoshi and balloon fight lend themselves to nice quick plays imo, and i've never played wrecking crew (or zelda 2), so thats kinda nice.
dk jr and golf i dont like, but theres plenty here to enjoy.

And the games are actually out now in the US, a day early. You need to go into the e-shop, find your previously downloaded titles under settings, and 'redownload' the 10 NES games which should be amongst your other downloads.
On the point of the NES games, Metroid comes with a sweet easter egg if you type in as a password "ENGAGE RIDLEY MOTHER FUCKER". It crashes the system!

Not quite an easter egg. What it does is set an invalid combination of flags that just so happens to spell out real words (just like Justin Bailey) that causes the game to get into a bad state. On the NES it also screws with you, so this is just a quirk of their emulation.
