I still like the first Fable better than the sequels.

Have you beaten Call of Cthulhu, Chronicles of Riddick, and Panzer Dragoon Orta?
I have Call of Cthulhu on PC, haven't tried it yet.

I beat Chronicles of Riddick on PC, it was great.

I am going to play Panzer Dragoon Orta this year (I own it on Xbox yes). I just beat Panzer Dragoon 1 today via emulation, then it's Zwei, and then I'll continue my play of Saga. And lastly Orta. Otherwise yes I'd go ahead and play Orta now.

Looks like Fable comes decently recommended from folks around here. I'll try it out tonight. I don't mind if it's easy, as long as it's actually fun. I've read that Fable 2 and Fable 3 support local co-op, that could be interesting.

I'll trade you a copy of Kirby Air Ride.

I put two hours into Fable: The Lost Chapters last night. So far it seems fairly decent, with clear potential. Although the first two hours were a slow tutorial that wasn't exactly riveting.

The first thing the game tasks you with is doing good deeds to buy your little sister a birthday present. Yawn. But shortly after that you see your sister murdered viciously, so okay I guess? :o

Also, I'm not sure why Peter thought it'd be a great idea to let the player make their avatar burp and fart on command. Not sure if that says more about what Peter thinks of gamers, or rather Peter himself.

Anyway, after those initial two hours, I'm past childhood, and teenhood, and am an adult. Maybe things will start to get more exciting now that I have facial hair. :)

Also holy shit the BLOOM in this game.

PSO, LVL18. I only have one solo quest left in the Caves and then I'll have to go after that boss. Shudder. That's my least favorite part of the game.

It's part of a larger emote system that takes the place of more complicated dialogue trees. I guess. I remember only playing a little of Fable, but wound up playing through II and at least most of III.
If you want something a bit more complex within a similar aesthetic and all, might check out Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

All I've been really doing lately is working on a Mythic weapon in FFXI, which had the total grind involved extended last week due to SE adding a final stage to it. Still have 80-100 hours worth of other stuff to do before I hit that though.

Because it's funny? One of the reasons I prefer the first game is they made the emote system more complicated to use in the later games. In the first I can walk up to an NPC and fart at the press of a button. In 2 I'd have to pull up a radial menu first. Kind of detracts from my immature sense of spontaneity. That menu made all the difference between something I did just to be silly and something I only did when I had to.

Walking up to unsuspecting NPCs and air humping them is good for a cheap giggle too.
