Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Personally I'd like to try wearing bowties.

Bow ties don’t go with t shirts or polos, FYI.

That's why I plan on adding dress shirts to my wardrobe.

I have a bowtie made of leather. I wear it with suspenders. Makes me look like some formal BDSM guy but I guess that's a cool look?

Never tried tying a bow tie before. Clip ons are popular. I have the regular tie down pat with the Full/Half Windsor knot.

I taught myself to tie a tie back in 2019, thinking I'd be moving to NYC and would need to know how to tie a tie for any reason, mostly work or any social situation that'd call for a tie.

NYC adopted the Floridians dress code. Ties are so passé.

Oh, thank God! Cuz that's an aesthetic I'm considering adopting in NYC, though my overall style is a reflection of the mood I'm in and whatever situation I see myself in. Apparently it's insanely common in NYC to leave for work and not go straight home after it ends, so it's normal to dress for work and any possible situation that'd come up between leaving work and going home.
