Hooking your bank account to your paypal has many benefits beyond being "verified". If you're paranoid about it - I get it, but being verified is not the only benefit.

It allows you to directly borrow monies you don't have in your paypal account - which is important. Otherwise in order to send money instantly, you either have to have it in your acount or pay by credit card (which typically is going to be associated w/your social and bank infor anyways, however there are fees on payments w/CC that do not apply if you pay via direct ACH bank transfer) - or by e-check, which is a real pain as the recipient of said check - because people who send them don't realize it takes 4-5 business days for them to clear and for a transaction to manifest.

It allows you to transfer money to your bank account. Example, I have $400 in my paypal right now, but my checking at my bank only has $300. I have to write a check for $500 this week. If I transfer from paypal to checking, it takes 2 business days and no fees. If I want a paper check, it takes 7-14 business days.

I've had my paypal issues in the past - none of them related to having my bank account linked, that has only made things easier.

Thanks for making me feel better about it. haha
I mean I'm not too worried because like I said the only reason I really need it at this time is to buy and sell on Racketboy. And I don't see the problem with having to "verify" it or whatever, if it'd make it easy to purchase things on ebay and whatnot. Seems like a simple and painless task.

They are. I'm getting digital broadcast TV.

I'm not, yet. That's why I want the antenna. If had a good one, I could pick it up from KQFX in Columbia.

Finally got the damned game working.

Needed both a Vista sound patch and the 1.05 patch so the game doesn't crash every five seconds...

Works like a charm now...

Max Payne, here I come!... :D

Smile: Went out for the daily jog and it was normal routine as always. The 2nd lap going up this steep hill, I pass by an older man (about 60+ from what I can tell) and he waves me to stop. I stop and he begins to ask why I do these jogs on a somewhat normal basis? Was I a football player or boxer in training? My response was that I was just doing it for my health. He then proceeded to complement me and call me a 'Bad Ass Mothefucker'. After we said our farewells, I did in fact feel like a bad ass motherfucker.

Hey, it's not like the game automatically asks you to update. I had to find out for myself there was another patch next to the Vista sound patch. That, plus the fact that I'm not used to playing too many games on PC...

Yes, I'm a PC noob... :|

Protip: Even if the game came out yesterday, check for a patch. With all of the combinations of PC hardware and OS options, it is impossible to test everything and there will be a patch sometime soon after release.
