This is why I would much rather this was a long-troll. Because if that's the case he's an ass and not headed for a serious life crisis that will hit him like a MAC truck.
It's also why I'm not pushing him harder to move to Atlanta. Ack would kill me.
Nah, he'd hate it here. Coke everywhere instead of Mountain Dew, all the New Yorkers who fled to work on film during the pandemic here are staying instead of going back to NYC, and we're far cheaper and less conducive to the ridiculously expensive New York lifestyle.
Nah, man, Atlanta ain't the place to be for his kind of filmmaking dream.
But Atlanta is working hard to get those prices up.

Aint that the truth, I looked to move back earlier this year the cost to get a home close to the size I wanted in the area I wanted was 5x-7x what it is where I am now.
Yeah, my wife and I are keeping an eye on home prices, but finding a place the size we want will likely force us out of the area we are in. Shoot, there are townhouses near where we live going for $800k now.

My pronouns are he/him, thank you very much. And if anyone in NYC wants to do a short-term housing swap, I'm in! Just give me a month or two to sock away some more cash and fix up my place.
