I added Bionic Commando for the Nintendo Entertainment System!

During my unemployment, I took a few months off of buying video games for obvious reasons. However, when I did get employed again, I did a small celebration of buying some games. Bionic Commando was the first one.

It's hard for me to pass up a good NES game when I go shopping. And Bionic Commando was on my list of games to get. I've played a little of it, but never enough to get a real good feel for it. I'm really excited to play this interesting and unique game. I've heard it is tough, but fantastic once you get into it.

^ I still need to get that. Price is still pretty agreeable, and it's pretty fun from what I recall.

Another month, another retro market. All of the games this month were purchased there with the exception of Mario Party. I got a decent selection this time. I'm glad to have bolstered my Saturn and PS1 collections a bit - 5th gen games are some of my favourite, but my collections a little lacking on Sony's machine in particular.

My lack of purchases was driving me crazy; so, this morning, I popped on PSN and picked a bunch of SNK arcade games:

Nice! I grabbed most of the SNK games on PSN this year myself. (Actually if you scroll up you'll see I also got Vanguard II this very month).

(btw, it seems like those games are now gonna be reissued again. Alpha Mission just appeared on the eShop, for instance).

I know! Seeing some of those pop up in the eShop reminded me I still need to get them (for less) on PSN.
