Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
So it was a part of the Japanese Ninja Jajamaru series, hence the name. Gotta love American game re-branding practices around this time. Jaleco loved to abuse it.

That's it, couldn't remember the name but knew they were of the same lineage.

Out of curiosity I went on amazon and there are sellers that are selling new Nintendo DS Lites for $95. The colors are Lime Green (UK exclusive) and Powder Blue (US, UK, JP).
Anyone ever bought either one of these from amazon lately?

I totally forgot this but for DSi owners, today is the final day to add money to the DSiWare store. You have until 5PM PDT. You have until March 31, 2017 to use that cash and download any owned games.

So are DSiWare games completely gone at this point? Can I continue to purchase DSiWare games on my 3DS until this date?

From what I read you can still purchase DSiWare games on the 3DS after that date. A small number of games are exclusive to DSi and won't transfer over and can't be purchased on the 3DS. You can transfer eligible games to the 3DS anytime after that date too.

Scribblenauts is a game that truly defines the DS. That is all.
(that and it's innovative as all get out)

They are still available for the 3DS. You just can't purchase them with a DSi anymore.

Wakey wakey!
I can not be the only person doing Nintendo handheld games anymore am I??
In the last week I have had some solid luck at the Half price of all places. They got a massive collection they paid out for that was valued over $1500. Lots of NES, Gen, SNES, GB-C-A and DS stuff almost all of it game only but a few complete.
I dug into their clearance handheld from it and snaked out some quality. I paid $2-4 a game on F-Zero Not for Resale, Dr Mario/Puzzle League, and Sonic Advance+Pinball Party...then $6 on KOF EX Neo Blood which is great.
Then I go back today thinking Id put a Genesis game on hold for the weekend when their 50% off coupon is in play...but it has green pin rot. Instead other luck. Golden Sun 1 and 2 both CIB still not selling at the $40 I bitched about months ago -- now they are $20 come Sunday on hold. >:] And I got a cool old GB+GBC code/clue pocket guide Bradygames Gameboy Secret Codes for $2, Phantom Hourglass guide for $5...and out the door I see games being prepped to go out. Never thought Id see it again but got Contact DS for $17! Almost grabbed Ys as well for that but left it, and there were other solid games people will surely gobble up if they are Atlus fans.

Re: Nintendo Handheld Gaming Thread (Game Boy to DS)
I'm still playing my GBA SP. I mainly play Pokemon Emerald at the moment.
While I was cleaning out some boxes the other day I ran across the upper and lower circuit boards for the SP. They were left over from a botched shell replacement job I did. I should get myself a new housing for it as well as the hinges for it. I also ended up finding an old SP with those god-awful skins. I should get a new housing for that as well. I want to clear housing but I can't seem to find any.
