how could you possibly get enough evidence to reasonably conclude that some percentage of NFLers do charity work with sincerity and some percentage don't? These anecdote and inference based claims are pointless.

$100 bet that Vick will miss his next "charity" event?

Let me look into the calendar of events, but I'm up for that bet. Put up or shut up.
Lol, oh so if I dont want to take you up on a bet on the how virtuous one of the known NFL bad guys is then I need to shut up? Yeah, sure, let me put money on a guy who has been to prison. C'mon man, you can do better than that... You are again picking high profile or high publicity examples and make a sweeping statement about them.

Yep, Michael Vick's head is big enough to account for 80% of the players in the league. This checks out. Sound numbers here. #infalliblelogic

If we're going to have a silly argument, can't it be about something like whether we have too many "players might get hurt" rules?

Putting money on it being much higher than 20 does notnconflict that I will put money on cherry picked Michael Vick for your cause. This argument is now silly and you are just trying to instigate....

There is no "cause" or "argument". I called your bluff, you cowered.

What bluff? What backpedaling? Unless he deleted something, it seems clear that John was saying that one player's commitment (or lack thereof) to charity events isn't evidence of this random 80/20 figure you keep throwing around. His refusal to take the (obviously stupid) bet doesn't at all diminish his critique of your larger argument about the character of pro athletes.

Uh-huh.

After he put money on the table I said to put up or shut up and offered a bet.

He answered with "lol".
