I've been holding on to my cheap-o pre-order forever. I can't wait to have this baby hooked up permanently.

I guess for only $100 what can you expect? if we wanted true hardware running all these different console games, we would probably be paying what $300? maybe $400?

Id figure it would average to about $100 a platform, so $400ish. The K1GBA clone goes for $60, and the FPGA NES's are supposedly going to average out to $100-150.

ehh I don't mind not playing the gb/c/a carts on tv. I already have a gbc(free to me because I didn't pay for it), a ds that plays gba games(which I might be selling for a 3ds at the store since I should get more than gamestop will give I think...and get a new gba sp for about 25 since they sell it for that). I really don't think I'll be actually getting fc and sfc games anytime soon though. The retron is a nice system and all but all the systems it can do I already have technically(minus the fc stuff), and for what I don't have there's a store near here that sells these I think for 20-50 each....plus I don't mind playing on my crt I got last week....that's what these games were meant to be played on anyways....

I am super stoked to get the console. We are within days of the supposed release month, who is betting on another unexpected delay on March 31st?!

I wouldn't doubt it that happens a lot. But I'm not too worried about getting one since I already have a nes and SNES jr. Both of which I'm going to need to learn to take care of because I don't want them conking out on me....especially not like the nes did. Retron may be my last resort if I can't find the other systems cheap like I think I should be able too

Hyperkin Facebook reports that all rumors about further delays should be laid to rest as they are still shooting for April.

We've got a real box now. :p I'm hopeful for April. They have been demoing this thing forever and I think they are getting near release.

I want one of these, but I'm scared to open up a whole slew of new consoles to collect for.
