Don't look at me, I didn't vote for either as they're both terrible so there is no projecting. I just find it fascinating how many whiners are wanting to so called leave the country. Both sides evenly argue it would be the end of the world though.

And no he didn't manufacture the stupidity on his own, contributed sure. But when someone says they'll vet any refugee instead of just being widely open door, and the press turns that into, lock up and deport all muslims -- that's manufactured as an example.


Blu it was badly written I know she didn't win the EC, I meant the popular vote. He surely has alienated all sorts of people, no argument there but he hasn't actually straight out come out as racist or homophobe, but did stupidly let people create the conversation without stopping it which looks complicit. In the end you're right, it will come down to if he fucks up our 401Ks, 403bs and the rest. I'd just like to see how he handles the first 100 days before people dig a pit, put him in it and start throwing rocks.

I've yet to meet someone outside of America who wanted Trump to win. Maybe I have a very liberal friend group, but I don't think thats it. I knew plenty of people who supported Brexit, my own step-dad was a vocal supporter of UKIP - all of those people thing Trump is an abomination to the world of politics.

I know a few brown-skinned folk who are a lot more afraid to walk in their communities, now. They aren't Muslim, but it shouldn't matter either way. They know that this election will have emboldened some folks to act on prejudices in ways they wouldn't have pre-Trump.

While Trump hasn't helped himself, a good deal of the narrative around him is most assuredly overblown. It requires reading Trump's imprecision with words in the most negative light possible. While he is still very much flawed, it's hard for me to buy into all of it when Mitt Romney, a man with impressive moral character, was also turned into a monster.

We will survive this, y'all. Furthermore, there is opportunity here. Be ready to take advantage, and keep living your life.

All fed by (a now proven) librul media. All fed by manipulators to serve their own agendas and using minorities as pawns in their own game. Pathetic. There is a reason Trump took 30% of the hispanic vote; despite EVERY mainstream media declaring him racist, jingoist, and mysoginist. They also want to be protected, both in security and trade policy that accurately reacts to things other governments do.

I hate to tell you this, but we are all very much pawns in a much bigger game.
