Just wanted to share my pick-ups from August, which all came from the Long Island Retro Expo. The games from the first pic came with my entrance ticket, in which you had the ability to choose two indie Dreamcast games. The second pic contains the games I came across while browsing the vendor area at the expo.
Shadow Gangs (DC) - An action platformer in the vein of the Shinobi series. From what I've played, the game seems to be pretty tough. It's going to take a fair bit of practice to get through this one.
Intrepid Izzy (DC) - An action adventure game in a similar style as Wonder Boy in Monster World or Shantae. I've seen this highly rated in a few lists of the best indie DC games. Looking forward to diving into this one.
Crazy Taxi (DC) - I'm starting to build up my DC collection a bit and considered this one an essential for the console. This is also one of my partner's favorite arcade games.
Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage (DC) - 3D beat 'em that I missed out on when it was released. My cousin also recommended this game and his taste is pretty top notch, so I'm excited to put more time into it.
Vandal Hearts (PS1) - I played through a bit of this strategy RPG via emulation years ago and enjoyed it more than I was anticipating. Glad to finally own a copy and can revisit this on my home setup.
Breath of Fire (SNES) - The few times I came across this cart, it was in rough shape. Another title checked off from the few remaining SNES RPGs I want to pick-up.
Breath of Fire II (SNES) - This game has eluded me the past few years as well. Even though the cart is quite yellowed, I couldn't pass it up.
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (GB) - My cousins owned this game when I was a young, so I only played it a bit with them. After beating Super Mario Land last year, I wanted to finally play through this as well.
