Things got a little heated today at the store when people kept coming in asking for the recent run of Amiibos. We hadn't received them yet, but they were insistent we had them hiding somewhere. Numerous people were getting really heated about it. We finally did get them in later in the day and most of the employees jumped on our meager offerings. Received 1 Ike, 1 Dedede, 3 Sonic and 2 Megamans. After the employees snagged what they could, Dedede was left over and was immediately purchased by a group of resellers.

They kept asking me to check the back for more and insisted on seeing what we were hiding behind the counter and demanded to talk to a manager because they KNOW we just got these in and the could not be sold out already. They wanted multiples of every figure we got in, but only had Dedede which they insisted we had more. They had a brief chat with our manager about it and took off. Things have only escalated in a weird way.

Yeah from what I'm reading it sounds like this wave will be insane, and probably any wave after this. I can only hit a couple stores and not until lunch time and I'm not expecting to come back with anything. It's kind of turning me off to the whole thing. I honestly enjoy the hunt but when I have the notion that there's virtually zero chance I'll find the ones I want, it might be time to just forget it.

I'm just happy that the employees who bought them, bought them for themselves. One guy just plays Ike and loves ike to death. The other guy, who I despise as a person is getting sonic and Megaman for himself. Me I scored 2 sonics and a megaman for as I am giving Blu one and the rest are for me!

I got my Sheik and Toon Link Monday. Picking up Shulk now. Hopefully my Ike, Dedede, Mega Mans come in.

No joke, I would have lost my job telling those assholes to go fuck themselves. That is why I had to get off the retail floor. I can't keep my temper in those situations. I feel sorry for sales people in these scenarios. It's just so lame that people are going all ape shit over a toy.

I know Nintendo has to pay license fees on sonic and megaman so why not make them quite common.

I already got my sonic and I'm supposed to megaman next week.

this amiibo collecting is making me crazy and I don't even want the full collection.

Yeah Diddy Kong and Samus were on clearance at our store. Was able to grab both for $6 before we ran out. It was a good grab.

Picked up my Shulk today. My Ike, Dedede, and Mega Man should be coming to the house next week. Then, I'm just waiting for the Meta-Knight and Rosalina to come through on the JP amiibo group buy.

Shulk, Sheik and Bowser have all arrived safely at the house (Yay!). Sonic is somewhere in the mail and should be here by Monday (Double Yay!). Dedede, Ike and Mega Man should show up sometime around the 26th-ish (Can I get a Woot Woot!).

My delayed Ike that I ordered from Gamestop (I had a bad feeling and ordered a second from another store) is still...delayed If he doesn't show up, no worries though, since the other one shows no indication as of yet of any issues.

As for Meta Knight, well, he's still M.I.A. I don't know where that little bastard is, but I haven't gotten a dreaded, "We're sorry to inform you..." email from Best Buy or anything, yet, so hopefully I get some word on him soon *crosses fingers*
