Chicken marsala! I tried a lower sodium version tonight, which isn't as good as usual, but still delicious.

Picked up a good sized ham hock and am planning on making lentil soup tonight. By the size of the hock, I'm going to make too much lentil soup.

This is sort of a "ticked me off" post, but it has to do with food, so I chose this topic. Last night, I was on my way home and went to Wendys to pick up a burger since i hadn't eaten dinner. Wife texts me back and asks to pick her up one of those five piece nugget things they have for $.99

I order the nuggets and the girl tells me "we dont have that." I ask her to clarify and she says they only have a 4 piece or 6 piece. I told her Ive ordered 5 piece nuggets for 99 cents zillions of times. She says they stopped serving that, and only have 4 for 99 cents, or 6 for like 1.89 or something. WTF man?

I ended up going to taco bell. Now I have tacobell shits. THANKS A LOT WENDY.

I cut them on the thin side rather than flattening them out. I tend to use rice, because my girlfriend so loved it the first time I made it - having made it with rice - and thus I stick mostly to that recipe.

I'll try pasta next time that it's just me.
