Google used to be so easy... Now I can't find any information on whether controllers from any region will even work. I do still have CRT, so that's no problem. I swear by CRT.

Ditto, CRT's are king.

Unfortunately all my searches on Guncon Region Lock, Guncon 1 Region Lock, G-Con45 Region Lock, PlayStation Light-gun Region Lock, etc..., etc... and no dice.

Can any of our UK/Euro members chime in with some info?

updated.

<rant>:

In addition to the things I listed in an above post with NO bids (most of which are still bidless), here are a few things which I think are criminally underbid:

49. Lot of 2 Sega 32X games - B.C. Racers (cart) and Toughman Contest
(check their prices on VGPC!)

78. Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard
(the game isn't the best ever, but it's worth at least twice the current bid!)

85. Lot of 2 Xbox 360 games
(again, not the best games ever but worth much more than the bid!)

91. NES - Power Pad w/manual
(goes for much more on eBay, etc.)

101-106. - Accessories aren't worth more than $1?!

113. This is a 17" LCD monitor, not a 1.7" LCD watch.

131. These handhelds are currently bid at .50 each!

149. Official promo merchandise for a well-loved series at under $20? For shame!

156. Game Gear lot - the charger alone is worth a better bid than this!

161. Lot of Plastic Instruments for the Xbox 360 - shipping on this will not be cheap, so your bids should not be either - this is a treasure trove of rockin' gaming!

168. Lot of 8 Saturn Games - last I checked, most import Saturn games are usually worth more than .50 each!

There's others that are being lowballed too - feel free to chime in and offer your own take on why some of these items need to be bid higher. For example: Luke, I know you have good reasons why we should all be bidding up on Madden '94 for the SNES - let us know why!

Don't get me wrong - it's awesome that everyone is bidding and that the auction is going so well - I'm just trying to push it even higher!

Remember that shipping on everything is free, so your bidding should correspond accordingly. You wouldn't be able to get games for $1 with free shipping on eBay or elsewhere, so try to do a *little* better here.

103. Game Gear - official soft carrying case - $3

I'm kinda expecting everything I bid on will be sniped at the last minute.

Where do I start?

For one, football fan or not, Madden '94 is a must have for any SNES collection. It's definitely one of the few sports games that is better on the SNES than on the Genesis, and is considered to be one of the best games in the entire Madden franchise, which is close to spanning 20 years. It is the defining football game in the SNES library. Madden '94 is also one of the first Electronic Arts games to ditch the EASN theme, and instead incorporated the now famous EA sports logo, and "It's in the Game" motto.

One of the multiple great features of Madden '94 is the championship playoff. You can play with the NFL's greatest teams in history, including the Monsters of the Midway, the 1985 Chicago Bears. In short, it's one of the most re-playable football games, ever.

I'm kind of surprised no one has placed a bid on Reggie Jackson Baseball for the SMS. IfI didn't already own a boxed copy, I'd easily bid up to $15 for the game. To me it is by far the best baseball game of the 8-bit era. Amazing graphics for its time. The game really pays attention to detail, and the controls are perfect. I also love the animation for foul balls. The baseball comes at you in what seems 3-D, and you can even see the seems and stitching on the ball. If you own a SMS and don't own this game, you are doing yourself a disservice.

If I hadn't just picked this up for 360 in that sale the other week I'd be bidding. Though I don't have a 360 yet, so considering it anyway

I'd been hanging onto this thinking it would draw more on ebay or something at some point. I'm sad too.

I don't want to tell my friend that he gave these to me to donate and they went this cheap either. Don't make me bid on them and then go sell them on Craigslist

I would be ALL over those instruments if I didn't already own them! Space is sort of an issue in my case, or doubles would be cool to own.

Seriously, someone should bid on them! Free shipping?! DO IT!!!
