What do you want to do? Infantry? Artillery? Armor? Logistics? There is a wide variety of options available. Also, if you have a college degree or aren't a total fuckup, you may be a potential candidate for OCS. Officers get better pay but more responsibility. You should also consider whether the Coast Guard is a viable option for you.
I'm mainly thinking about Infantry at the moment but I really need to talk with a recruiter and research all my options. I do have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice legal studies with an accidental minor in history(probably had one in English to but could never get confirmation on what the requirements were from that department)

, but I don't really have much interest in being an officer.

I swapped over to low sodium V8 pretty fast it's kind of surprising how much sodium is in original by comparison. As for other drinks I've been mainly sticking to water as well as diet V8 Splash and Diet Cranberry Juice both of which are sub 1g of sugar and 5 calories per serving. Was kind of surprised by the Great Value Diet Cranberry Juice actually tastes pretty good and it's actually really cheap probably because it's just really watered down cranberry juice but it's still good

.
For snacks I've mostly been sticking to unsalted mixed nuts, carrots w/ nonfat ranch, string cheese, and various fruits(bananas, frozen blueberries, etc.) they had a bunch of special K protein meal bars with beat to hell boxes on clearance at Walmart so I picked up a good supply of those as well. For breakfast I've swapped over to just a bowl of original Fiber One which is surprisingly good when you aren't eating a ton of carbs and crave them, and pretty much takes care of my fiber needs.
