I’ve got some news to share as well. After all the approvals I finally got the green light to transfer offices and am going back to Manhattan to work. I transferred out last August to work in northern New Jersey hoping it would be a better move. Alas it wasn’t and will be back some time next week.

Thanks, guys!

And congrats to you as well! Does this mean a shorter commute? Or is it just that nice to be out of the garden state? :O

Fragems wrote::? : So I'm kind of in panic mode still from messaging the girl last night. She's been online, but I haven't gotten a response so I'm scared I freaked her out :P. I haven't dated in around 14 years and that's all the way back in middle school which doesn't really count so I don't really know how things work now. Guess I'll give it a few days for her to digest maybe I shouldn't have been so upfront about it but I'm not one to beat around the bush :P.

Any update to this?

Pretty much no response. Sent a second message apologizing if I made things weird and she didn't read it. Didn't unfriend me or anything though so maybe down the road I'll get a response or at least a chance to talk with her. Anyways feels good to have gotten it off my chest after all this time and the balls in her court. It would be a lie though to say I'm not kind of disappointed not to get a response. Even a "lay off creepo" would at least give me some closure.

Not much of a social person so being on Facebook isn't really my forte, but I'm trying to be more active and get out more. Trying to direct my focus more on getting myself where I need to be emotionally, financially, and physically for now.

Fragems:
That’s fine man. Even if you don’t get a response at least you tried and got that weight lifted. You’ll feel better about yourself. Work towards bettering yourself and then realized that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes you have to be selfish and think about how to better yourself. If you do that the rest will come.

Partridge:
Yeah the commute will be both cheaper and quicker door to door. I go from driving for 2 1/2 hours daily to 1 1/2 on a bus. That’s a lot of stress that gets eliminated or at the very least shifted. It'll cost me nearly 40% cheaper as well. Win-win!

:D Only got one more title to buy to fulfill my Disney Movie Club commitment. The first was when I joined and added a title on top of the five (I used a referral link, like mine in the signature). The second was A Wrinkle in Time, which I got today. The most recent one is a pre-order of Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray. And before you ask, it's cheaper to fulfill my commitments at $30 a pop than to neglect them and come September owe for the six I got minus the $16 I paid for my first 5 and 6th title ($180-16=$164!).

I'd that like the cd deal back in the day where you got 8 CDs for a penny with the promise to buy 5 at a regular price later but no one ever did? Lol, just kidding.

>:[ Since 22 hours ago I have been without power. I'm using my phone as a hotspot to use my tablet both jacked into a high mah battery pack to buy some time. Across down a few houses and the road behind all have power but this little strip is being screwed for some reason other than balancing power. There are no downed lines, busted transformers or anything else. They can take their precaution and shove it, lost some food already out of this. I dont get this irrational blackout spots stuff. Lady on the phone couldnt explain it either which says a lot. I may be out as long as to noon Monday. Earlier a cruel tease as I was out said I had power, of course not, when I came back. Hate to think they'd want to flip the lights back on to maybe 10 houses or so, but no.

 My friend got really busy on Monday all of a sudden, so I learned Sunday night that we wouldn't be hanging out Monday, and she won't respond to my texts on trying to set up another day to hang >m<. I think she may be moving from her grandma's place back home with her folks, so I get that she may be busy. Just not being able to contact her is stressful though QwQ. I've been making better progress on that anxiety over the last day or two though (firstly, it's only been two whole days, and she's always been difficult to get a hold of through text, and secondly it's something that isn't either that important or something that I can really affect myself past what I'm already doing, so it's really not worth the horrible stress I'm giving it). I'm still really burned out from a crazy awful weekend, and I just really need some days to chill by myself and I think that will do me a world of good Xp

:D My adoptive (not adopted) little sibling moved into our guest room on Sunday! It's been so nice having them so close by to talk to when I'm stressed UwU. We watched Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 tonight and it was a really fun time! GotG 2 especially is SUCH a good movie, omg.

:x Was going to buy some Game boy and Game Boy Advance games from someone on Craigslist at a really good price. We were going to meet today and I asked him if he’d sign a receipt (I offered to write it if he didn’t want to ) for the sale, since it totaled $400 and I’m not a moron. Plus I’ve been thinking of starting an online store and would need records for my taxes. Dude acted like I was asking him to sign over his firstborn child, making sarcastic comments like, “yeah I’ll just need your social security number and a copy of your driver’s license”.

I messaged him to grow up and called it off. For all I know they’re stolen or counterfeit so I’m probably better off. Very irritated though
